First of all, no, this absolutely is not me asking if we need a forum for modded and repainted HeroClix on the forum.
Several months ago, all of the sub-forums of the Creative Corner were merged into the Creative Corner, except The Artisan's Guild, which is still intended to be used for mods and repaints. At the same time, thread prefixes were added, such as "Maps" and "Fanfic," to serve the purpose of the old sub-forums.
Unfortunately, I don't think this has quite worked out for The Artisan's Guild sub-forum. Right now, people post mods in both the Creative Corner and The Artisan's Guild. Since I usually just click directly into The Artisan's Guild I tend to miss some threads posted about modding these days.
I suggest one of two solutions:
1. Merge The Artisan's Guild with the Creative Corner, adding "Mod"/"Custom" and "Repaint" thread prefixes. This keeps the main forum page less cluttered.
2. Make The Artisan's Guild a top-level forum instead of a sub-forum, probably appearing just above or below the Creative Corner. Putting it on the main page will make people notice that that's where to post mods.
Thanks for reading! :)

As a modder who posts and reviews mods often, I think This is a good solution/idea.
Both suggestions are good ideas.

I actually enjoy having a separate part for people who make mods of figures. It makes it so I don't waste my time looking at 3-d terrain or other things that I am not interested in.
(This will probably be a rant)
I say this because it is amazing how many people do not read. There are many parts of the forum that have specific purposes but yet people do not post in the correct place. It can all be fixed by reading and being cognizant of where you are posting. One more thing, those thread prefixes are not used by most people. I don't know why.

Come on Ben!
We have elected officials who never read bills they vote into law (you live in te DC area after all, you know this!) and you expect gamers to read (and follow) directions???
Gamers??? Many of them still live in their parent's basements!
Read???
That's crazy talk!

They could at least have their parents read it to them. :)

I am not trying to make it an insult where people cannot read or people are "too stupid" to read.
Sometime people just gloss over stuff because it has always been there. Or the possibility of someone being lazy.

Lazy, stupid, which is worse?
Bringing things back on track since it was thrown off ... I'm all for it. I'm a big fan of the thread prefixes, but I'm doing it slowly across the entire site. We'll be making more changes soon in preparation of the final forum merges (The admin view; seeing all the WoW and MonPoc forums is getting a little out of hand for me).

I usually have to put everything in the subject line in emails to my wife at work because she's too busy to read.
As back to the point, I like having mods and paints separated. I only go in there once or twice a week and to have it merged with all the others, I would definitely miss a bunch. But again that's just me.
