I been wanting to sell my extra thorbuster to buy a brick of DC75th, but recently i was made an offer(I'm considering). The offer is mine Thorbuster for a White Lantern Superman, I just want to know do you guys think this is a fair trade? And is WL superman hard to pull from this set?

absolutely not.
Keep your thorbuster.
I would go for the brick if I were you, you might pull it, and then have those SR's for trade if you already have them.

yeah. put it this way... If you want to make that trade I would ask for one of the lesser white lanterns also, or a couple of the regular SRs.
I think the WL craze in general will settle down in a few weeks, but I do not see Superman staying much above the $50 mark. That said, you have an extra Thorbuster, so you can afford to trade down a little if you want too. An extra doesn't do much good if you don't trade or sell. We've all done it. I think the only one close to your Thorbuster is the WL Hal Jordan.
But hey, if you do want to trade the thorbuster, let us all know!

No way.
although that's just me. If you want to, go right ahead. It depends on what you want more.

Well with one WL per brick and 10 different WL's the odds of you pulling Sups are pretty slim. So if you really really want him you might make the trade. If your not dying to have him I would try get a brick, 50 figs one being a WL which could be your Superman for one fig of yours is a good trade in my eyes

Think of it this way.
Buy a brick - and trade the WL and 2 super rares for the WL superman.
You get to keep 1 SR

Easier said than done.
I'd trade if you want Supes. Thorbuster sells for $50-75 I believe I haven't checked him in awhile. The craze was when the set hit the White Lanterns were so cheap. Doing the math there's actually only 700-800 of each if there was 70,100 boosters put out. Hal is now at $105-110 and there's only 3 on E-Bay. There's only 2 or 3 Superman figures on E-Bay right now. He's been selling for $60. The prices on the White Lanterns have been going up everyday since the release. Still haven't leveled off. There's also less and less of Hal, Kal, Ollie, and Barry showing up on E-Bay. The BIN prices that will soon be left are all high. I pulled 2 WL Supes myself and 3 Hals. I actually pulled them from the same brick and 1 Hal from a loose booster. So you can gamble but just think if you get Ice, Blah!

It has been reported that there is about 30,000 cases made (if the number of cases reported is correct), each case has 2 bricks, with a white lantern per brick; it would come to 6,000 of each WL made.
But you are correct, these WL are going up in price and getting harder to get for right now.
To the OP, it is up you if it is a good trade or not. If you really want a WL Superman or not. But you do have your doubts or you would not post a thread. I have a feeling you will follow what your gut tells you.

I think a lot of people have missed that Macewyndu is talking about selling his extra Thorbuster to pay for a brick of DC75, not trading for one outright.
Dude, unless your local shop is selling bricks dirt cheap, that isn't going to work. The Thorbuster only goes for $50-70, likely less than a brick, and DC75 is sold out at distributor level, so you may not have much of a window to sell and then buy your brick.
If you want the Superman, my advice would be try and get a token SR or some rares you need included in the deal to make up for the difference in value.

At 1/brick, the WLs are four times as common as the normal chase figure (every other case). But there are ten WLs, so getting a particular one is harder than getting a particular chase figure.
I would not trade a chase figure for a WL straight up as an equal value. Maybe for a friend, but for the average person, I would want more. Another WL, a decent SR or LE, a couple of average SRs/LEs, maybe even a high demand rare like Smokey Feet, but not straight up one for one.
The numbers just don't justify it.
That said, if you really want something, then the numbers go out the window.
I would still try to get a little more, though. They don't need to know that you are willing to take the deal that they offered.

Agree with all the above posts. I am sure the WL will go down in price. All of them... including Hal Jordan. I have a suspicion that some Ebay sellers are buying their own products at outrageous prices thru another account to inflate the prices...... What so you think people? Check the completed auctions..... esp the recent best offers....

E-Bay takes 9-12% so you'd be losing $9-12 dollars if you bought your own Lantern back for $100. I had 1 on E-Bay I couldn't figure out how to remove and didn't want to sell. I raised the price up to $80 and sure enough someone still bought it. Wish I had put it at $100 now.
the brick is a better deal.
when you open the brick you will get a White Lantern... possibly two... And the Superman isn't even topping the WL favorites list.
You get more value out of the brick for sure.

Here are the big questions....
What do you still need from the set?
Is it even worth it to get a brick anymore based on the previous answer?
Do you really want a WL Superman?
Do you see more Thorbusters pr WL Supermen being traded now?
If you want to trade the Thorbuster ask for something in addition to the WL Superman.
