Does it take 2 movement to move onto hindering terrain? I have always said yes but someone is disputing it and I could not find the rule in the DC rulebook to prove that and I didn't have a Marvel at the time. If it is true where is it located in the rules? If not than I completely made that rule up and I need to correct it.

It doesnt cost any additional spaces of movement to enter hindering terrain. But once you enter it you movement is stopped for that action. When you move off of it your movement is cut in half.

No, it costs one movement point to move from any square to any adjacent square, assuming that it is legal to move there.

When moving from non-hindering terrain to hindering terrain, a grounded model must stop.

When moving from hindering terrain, a model's movement rate is halved.
