Why is guardsmen the default units pic?

I mean, there are so many pieces in the units section without character cards up, but why put an avenger guardsmen card up? I type in like black adam or something on units and the sculpt+guardsmen pops up lol

he is not crazy. i know what he is referring too. on some of the figs in the units section the thumbnail of the card shows guardsman's but if you click on it it is the right card. he is just asking why the thumbnail is guardsman. for an example go see SI Iron Fist.

After reading your post three times and looking through the units section I finally got what you guys are talking about. I think Space Jawa has it right that the guardsman card is as simple as it comes and they just need something to represent a card.

P.S. I am still going to say that I am crazy if that is alright even if Ross... isn't :cool:

It's something I need to disable in the system ... If a photo is missing, it's going to try and grab the photo it thinks you were trying to find; which happens to be guardsman for most of them. I just need to generate new thumbnails. :)

New character card thumbnails would be great, though I'm not complaining.
It shows Guardsman for the thumbnail on every figure I'm aware of since Legion of Super-Heroes.

This now made me just notice that no character cards have been made available in "units" section after Hammer of Thor, starting with the Classics set(s).

Then again, there's always mobilehorror.com for your cardboard needs. Mike does a great job of upkeeping that site in those regards.
