the greatest clix?

i just got what i believe to be the great clix in heroclix, darkseid. and i always bragged(when only dc and ic were out) that he is the best. does anyone know if there is someone that can beat him one on one?

Dr. Doom, Magneto, Thor, Ultron, Darkseid(hey, he could!), Superman, Batman, Anybody with Outwit and a range, Wolverine, Logan, Spiral.

I reckon even a simple character with Incapacitate could take Darkseid out.

Just keep on Incapacitating him until he's all "pushed out".

There have been a few threads all about finding the biggest and nastiest clix. Darkseid is always a top contender, after all, he *is* a beast (and shockingly affordable.) However in these threads I've seen him beat down by V Thor and a OWAW Superman. I also wouldn't really like his chances against Sinestro or a Sentinal in 300 point versions. Also, that new 201pt. Hulk looks like he could lay a pretty effective beat-down on any figure.

But don't lose heart, for his points there are few that can dare to stand against the dread lord of Apokolips.

This new Hulk you speak of has no Battle Fury, anybody with range(and more than 2 damage) can take him out that way!

Anyway, YES I have gone one on one with Darksied, Ending in a Glourious victory for Doom. You stand back at 10 squares and just keep perplexing your damage up, and hitting him. If he gets too close, running shot back and shoot him some more! Still too close? Running shot away and soar!
After defeating Darksied, Doom proceeded in releiving Darksied of that pesky cube of his... Next on his list, the Infinity Gauntlet!

Technically, almost any figure can take down just about any other figure. A big part of the game is dice rolls. Even a R Thug could take down Darkseid if he rolled all 12 and 'Seid rolled all 2's. :)

I'm not really sure what you mean by this comment. Take him out what way? (I presume not to a movie, even if "Hulk want Freddy Prinze Jr.!!!!") No battle fury means 3 things. You can mind control him (and take 2 clixs of damage for the joy...also, what will you do? Push Hulk? Surprise, he gets stronger) The second effect will be that he can throw weapons at you, so Hulk has range attack, Hulk happy! The third thing is you can taxi him...which one-on-one means very little. So what is it about him that battle rage lack matters on? I'm hardly saying he's the end all and be all of clixs, but he can do some nasty damage on all sorts of opponents. And once he bases his opponent they are in for a world of hutin'.

OWAW Superman is the best clix in a one on one match with no point considerations. He cannot be hit if he does not want to be. Hypersonic speed and a long ranged attack really make him unstoppable.

For sure power it's the owaw superman, however I find the exp superman much more playable and fun. Betcha all thought I was going to say a thugh :D

i went one on one with vet dr. doom, my darkseid destroyed him.
also i dont think sinastro and sentinal(sp) should count, i mean i think they can take out almost anyone because of the fact that they are 4 spaces BIG!!
