Canada shipping how long?

from canada and shipping to the USA, one of my packages sent to the US has taken approx 3 weeks and still hasnt shown up yet and I used air mail.........what is the longest someones has taken? I havent had any trouble before even using surface they normally show up in a couple weeks? Has customs probably held it up?

Yes, CanadaPost does indeed suck sir.

Usually when i send my packages i always send Expedited. It gives me a tracking number to at least let me know that it actually did get there when it was supposed to. I rarely ever send a package without a tracking number. Normally i believe the last time that i did send one it took about 13-15 days to get there.

There are a few things to concider though;
- customs could of held it
- christmas majorly affects international shippments
- most shipping times the post will give you are the average for shipping from one major city or urban center to another.
- if youve got your receipt, give canadapost a call. they may be able to tell you where it currently is, or at the least if it was delivered.

I really dislike CanadaPosts rates. its actually cheaper for me to ship from the east coast to the states, than have them ship it to the west cost. As apposed to me shipping it straight over from Newfoundland to Vancouver. I assume you were required to send first as you have a lower feedback rating. Keep in mind that shipping doesnt count weekends and other holidays(chirstmas, boxing day, newyears, and any civic holidays).

Give it a few more days and try calling CanadaPost and give them the info off of the receipt that you got when you mailed.

let this be a lesson - NEVER - EVER use surface, it is not unusual for it to be closer to 4 weeks. Add the Christmas Crunch and now you wait. As well it will also depend where in Canada to where in USA.

Airmail is always thew way to go, it is marginally more expensive but much quicker

I had packages arrived after 4 weeks coming from Canada. So, I wouldn't be too worry about it yet

In this case I did use airmail which is why im rather annoyed hehe. I am pretty certain customs has it.
