View Full Version : What Should I Do About An Auction Gone Bad.

Hello Fellow Players,
I have a situation where a Trader/Seller here by the Name BigBob2 had an auction on March 2009 and I won a JLA Green Lantern SR (Guy Garner) for $9.50 so I payed him through Money Order for a total of $10.00. He told me that his computer was messed up so that is why he didn't get back to me then he told me that he sent the figure to someone else. Then he Vanished and now returns in the selling forum here and acts like he don't owe me anything. Here is the Auction pm:

I still haven't received that fig from the person that I sent it to by mistake I will send it to you as soon as I get it back.

Talk to a Mod or send him the PMs that you exchanged. Honestly this is why I don't trade here. Not that this happens often, its the fact that people can do this and there is no legal repercusion

According to the feedback you left him, you said you got your figure, but that it took two months. On this thread it sounds like you are saying you never got it. Which one is it?

Definitely contact a mod, specifically phantalien.

Just out of curiosity, did you ever receive a refund? If not, then you can negate the negative rep if he is willing to right the situation. Also, your comment on his itrader does make it seem as if you eventually received the figure in question.

Nope never got the figure or Money he told me that he sent the figure to someone else and then he was gone for 2 years till yesterday.

Then you should have been more clear in your feedback. Anyway, I'd close this thread down, go into the trading forum, and check out the sticky posts under trade/auction rules. There should be directions for which specific mod to PM for problems such as these.

EDIT: It's probably phantalien who you need to contact...

I understand what you mean Groovy Boy about my feed back I wish I can say that I did get the figure that was an angry feedback post so I don't remember what I wrote.
I should have proof read it but believe me I never got anything from this guys and it stinks cause I know it will happen to others. Just beware guys.
