Looking at the new Elektra and her ability to dual mind control
(great power applied to the wrong character) I got to thinking
about other interesting combos for individual figures...

TK with 2 arrows:
One that I mentioned on another post would be "2 target telekinesis"
(which i thought would've been great for Phoenix) Imagine the ability
to launch two of your own into battle or two enemies into awkward
situations or even 'basing' two objects and flingin' them!

Flurry+Incapacite:
Ever wanted to just shut someone down?...leave them helpless?
The ability to instantly put two tokens on a character would just
plain rock. I'd hoped the Veteran Iceman would have something
like this for at least for one click...regardless, he'll still be a lot of fun!

Hypersonic Speed / Energy Explosion with 2-3 arrows:
This could be the 'Deadpool Power'. Teleport...fire at up to three
targets or concentrate on one...and get out of there.

...anybody have others they'd like to see?

It is to my understanding that you cant use 2 arrows and Tk, I could be wrong. I do know however that Quasar has TK and 2 arrows.

Medusa has Flurry/Incapcitate, but she's not a heavy hitter either. That would be a good combo on a stronger attacker.

I would personally like to see running shot and mind control even though it would require split power slots. I'd also like to see enhancement and defend.

Some power combo's I'd like to see:

Plasticity + Poison + Toughness/Super Senses/Invulnerabilty + good melee damage. This combo would allow a brawler to get in close, tie someone up with plasticity and poison them while beating the snot out of them!

Willpower + Mind Control + double arrows. Make multiple someones your monkey over and over again!

Flurry and Incapacitate is indeed a cool combo and Medusa already has it (on her 3rd or 4th click iirc). Adding Willpower to that combo would make it even sweeter! I see a new Unique Constrictor ......

I like the hypersonic speed multiple energy explosion idea. Heh. We'll just call that character B-52 ....

Hypersonic or Charge or Running Shot + Willpower would just be obscene. I LIKE it!

...checking the rules it does say that moving figures away
is designated a 'close combat action' but what about ranged
attacks with 2 objects using TK?...anybody have an official
ruling on this?

if you use telekinesis to thro two objects, does your damage reduce to one even after the objects, because of the multi-attack rule?

what about a hypersonic speed & blades/claws/fangs combination? they port in, rip someone a new one, and bug out. mmmmm...

damage value rule or the multi attack reduction rule?

Telekinesis is a close combat action, even if you are using the action to attack someone who is 10 squares away with an object. So you can not use a character with multiple lightning bolts to attack with multiple TKed objects because the lightning bolts only let a character make multiple ranged attacks.

I would like to see a FLURRY and SUPPORT combo! If you have two adjacent friendly figures and you max one out, you could boost up the other.

...page 21 Marvel rulebook in regards to TK Attacking with an object.
It's a 'ranged combat Action' the TK rule on the powers/abilities card
defers to this rule in this specific area of the TK ability.

This was not altered as far as I know in the FAQ's...

Would like to hear a judge's ruling on this if available.

#1 Legal: TK attack with adjacent 2 objects with multiattack arrows ?

#2 The Damage count of said attack reduced to 1 or standard Light/Heavy
thrown damage?

TK is actually a close combat action, even though it can result in a ranged combat attack, so multiple arrows don't allow 2 TK attacks. I think that Flurry and TK would be a valid combo, though. I'd love to see a high powered Magneto with a few clicks of both.

Personally, though, I really want a character with multiple targets, running shot, and a decent attack. They botched Hawkeye, they didn't give it to Gambit, and the only people who start with both Running Shot and EE are all over a 100 points (and mostly only have one target).

Definately fun, but way too powerful for Deadpool, unfortunately. If we ever see that power, it'll likely be on a teleporter, like maybe Blink, should they ever make her. But absolutely a combo I'd like to see. Energy Explosion is easily my favorite power, so anything that allows me to exploit it makes me smile.

Clint Barton Le has 3 arrows with 8 range and incapacitate. Talk about stopping power...

Yes he does, along with an attack rating of 6, on his 4th click. Granted, Spiderman Team ability allows the possibilty of SinSyn boosting his attack, but it's too unreliable to base a team around.
