I do not work for this company in any way, I just like modding and heroclix, and whether I am fixing my heroclix or modding, this stuff is the greatest stuff in the world.
I found it in a hobby shop, and the stuff was made to create water effects on landscapes for electric trains and car tracks. But I find this stuff has much more potential than just that.
The stuff officially is called "Water Effects C1212, and is put out by a company called "Woodland Sciences"
Here is a link to the website for this product. (It is copied so you will need to copy and paste it to your browser.)

This stuff is basically "plastic cream". You apply it like a cream and it dry's very quickly, but not so quick you can't mold it or shape it anyway you want. Once it is dry, you can paint it as well as any of your heroclix. And more importantly, it bonds STRONG! As in as if it was part of the character to begin with, strong!!
It is the best thing in the world for when a character has separated from its base.
I use it to attach anything you can think of to heroclix, arms, legs, heads, weapons, tails capes, I even use it to add hair and beards.
Here is a web address to a Zemo I have made from a Wonderman.

(Beleive me, I learned a long time ago my modding abilities would never match Hair 10, Aegisfang, or any of the other great modders from this sight. But I still love modding). On the Zemo I used this product to assemble the crown of a Trapsters head and then use it to make the Zemo mask effect. I also used it for the furr and to attach to a Punisher base.

Here is an example using it to add hair to turn a Goliath into Tower from X Factor:

It says it dries clear. I wonder how it would work for lantern effects and such?

That's what I'm hoping! Not necessarily lantern stuff, just effects in general.

If applied thin you would have to look close to tell it is on, but when applied thick, it would be more like ice. The thicker, the more dense. If you mean lantern as in Green Lantern, this is a cream, so I don't know how to mold it without it sticking to a mold. But I do use it for like flame effects, or ice. I tried to do the Acolyte Uniscone, and wanted to have her transparent enlarged hands much like Green Lantern, but I ended up drilling out the hands of Hydroman so that I could use this stuff to "glue" them onto the girls arms to get the effect.

I think you have me confused with someone else. I can do a few quick and dirty repaints or even some "cut and paste" mods, but a "great modder"??!?

" but i sure have fun doing this stuff."

Thats the truth! And I never get tired of seeing work from the modders, such as yourself, and the many others of the Realms.

"Ah Woodland Scenics. Yes, good stuff."

Have you used it before, or is it the first time you have used it?
