My least favorite in the set. All the wrong powers at all the wrong times. He looks sad, and for good reason. He's poop.

Not so bad with "Not So Special," and The Society ATA. So, playable but not so special even with the feat.

He's been a total waste in every game I've seen him in so far. His dial is salvageable, but it will take a lot of effort. Would it have been too much to ask for all of his attack values to be bumped up by one or something? I guess at least he got made.

i like how ppl say he's garbage because he has 'low' attack values. i've won with him every time i play him. when i beat him, it's because my opponent isn't playing him right. a 12 move, with 8 range should never been seen by most ppl. he's such a diverse piece when played right. reducers before regen should actually keep him alive a VERY long time. hhs and regen will make sure he gets a swing and takes off to regen.

I was so excited for DC75, but then I pulled this guy in my first pack and it soured the whole set for me. I basically paid $12 for a doodoo dial of a guy I never see in comics...

To sum this guy's incoherence up, look at click three. It has Telekenisis, Mind Control, and it's his strongest damage-wise. Why does he need all that inflating his cost when he can only use one at a time? And then why does he get hypersonic on his regen clicks? Is that really a good point investment? It's not the worst dial ever, but it's really nonsensical, and not in the fun way (I've used him)

Not nearly as bad as people say he is. That 8 attack is enough to be angry about, certainly, but with his power set he makes a deceptively solid piece. HSS + 8" range + flight is golden, add massive amounts of reducers, and you have a great piece. Give him relatively low values, and it diminishes slightly. Perplex helps, so does "Not so Special".

I played him in a 400 point game and he did exceedingly well.

His dial has several clicks with powers that do not work together, but that does not mean that they do not mesh well. HSS on the back end lets you hit and run if you need to get away to use the regen, so it is feasible; it is doubtful you will ever use that back end Psychic blast. Telekinesis is less useful when you have a base 3 damage. But for all his powers (values aside), his cost is surprisingly low.

I actually like this figure. I won't argue with what other players say. It's true his stats could've been a bit higher and some of his powers seem out of place, but he's actually not that bad.

12 movement HSS is a great way of getting around. (He's a lot like the veteran Ray in that first click, save for damage reducers and his damage value). There are also ways to shore up that low attack what with all the cheap perplexers in modern age, even more in golden age games.

That sculpt is horrible though, absolutely horrible. And he should've been given the psychic keyword as well since he's both a telepath and a telekinetic.

They stopped doing the Psychic keyword after Hammer of Thor, don't know why.

Everyone know what Rookie Means? ok I think its fine for a rookie. Now as a figure for use, probably wish we got something different. Probably on the lines of solid throughout the whole dial.

i'll tell you....the fact that he only has 2 stars is way beyond me. why? this guy is NOT the best of the 144 club no. but he kicks the crap out of a lot of golden age pieces. i have played him twice and did very well. he died both games, because hypersonic is always seen as a threat. but here is the thing. he has other powers like tk and mc. they are fun. use them when you need them, if you dont just shoot your opponent instead. i guarantee if i tentpoled him he would own. 9 attack sucks yes, but its not TERRIBLE. he could have more 8's. but he only has 1. and all imperv and invuln with decent defenses! idk. i give up. i played a sealed game with him and he easily was the key player on my team with a little perplex. but whatevs

I used him a few times on Secret Society teams which lack damage reducers in modern age pieces. Teamed with Psycho-Pirate and Ocean Master (With a bucket of water), they mopped the floor with my opponents. Mainly due to the 8 range and HSS and 4 damage click from this guy. Is he the best? No. Is there better pieces for the cost? Plenty, but he has his uses. He's not SI Mephesto for cripes sake...:devious:

I'm so glad WizKids finally made him... but the end result is one of my biggest disappointments in HeroClix. Is he awful? No. I love the dial design, but he can't hit anything in the current game. Just boost his attack by 1 down the dial, and you've got a 4 star figure. As it is, he's next to useless.

Garbage. For 144 points, he needs to hit something. 4 damage with mind control and tk means you're wasting points. HSS with regen means you're wasting points. Having his most effective click in the middle means you're wasting points when he gets hit right by it. Sure, perplex and not so special help him be decent but add perplex and no so special to most qualifying modern figures in his point range and they'll be better.
