Flash is sooo good. I cannot express enough my joy in his dial. His no pushing weakness is a draw back, but I used it against the mystics, to take 2 damage and push onto his third click. His healing shapechange is good too, as it can activate often, several times in one turn, and heal him to his second click. Willpower makes him nasty with his HSS.

All with flight and 8 range. A good piece, and compliments the Blue Lantern flash well, due to the enhancement.

Wouldn't that land you next to an enemy though since you take the mystics click as soon as the attack lands and would then be forced to stop? Then after the action is over you'd take the push click but still be next to them since the action has ended.

Easily my favorite of the White Lanterns. Efficient-enough for his cost to make him worth fielding even in 300pt games, and an excellent representation of what you'd expect Barry to be able to do with his White Lantern powers.

This is a brutally efficient top-dial with relatively low cost that will allow skilled players to adjust game-to-game strategy relatively easily: HSS, perplex, 8-range, flight/TAXI, natural 3-damage is a LOT to bring to the table.


The figure's true annoyance is the COST: 138 points is a "sweet spot" in force building. Not only is it below the 50% (of 300) threshold for FLOOR, but it also is within easy reach of "Warbound" for shared keyword buddies if that's the way you roll...which covers the no-push drawback of this dial.


Of all the chase figures made so far, I expect that this is the one that will be appearing with regularity on force builds.

Makes Bart look like a chump for not very many points more. It's a good thing he loses Hypersonic on his second click and everybody knows it, or he might be too much. There's not a click on his dial that isn't scary, and he can play several roles very well. Nothing I can think of in the game matches his combination of support, harassment, and maybe even primary attacker potential.

Im pretty sure he should be considered a black lantern since he is VERY deadly. and the black latern should b a white bc u can Live from him, much easier than this one. idk why hes not the most expensive white lantern out there. broken, OP'd (dont forget this one has a RANGE), and undercosted, not as bad as GW, but still undercosted. 3rd click is hell, though no SS, he has WP, and gotta love the TK. My fave piece with him is WoS Bullseye.

love this piece. ive always had a soft spot for the DC speedsters and this is the daddy of the lot. knoticed someone mentioned a warbound use of him, id say max mercury would work for that, closest to the halfway points and that plex would counter the carry -2. just saying :)

Faced this guy once. He didn't land an attack and HoT Thor common blasted twice while Iron Fist finished him off. Of course dice rolls could have gone the other way and Iron Fist would have been hurting with Flash still on the board. Definitely a good piece, just thought it was funny I owned him in 2 turns.

Never said it was. It was a 500 pt game and there were other pieces on the board. My opponent just happened to position WL Flash adjacent to Iron Fist in a spot that allowed Thor to RS over. He could have run away if he wasn't pushed. I just thought it was funny. I normally don't KO my opponents best piece by turn 4 in a game. Positioning and dice rolls were in my favor.

Insane figure. The best flash dial we've ever got. People have often forgot that he also has flight and range. Hindering terrain is no issue and the range can add another 4 squares to his threat range. Far too cheap for what he does. He can front a team himself or help out his teammates, or both. I actually can't think of a better piece for the points. TK and perplex a teammate early. After that you have the best speedster coming in and hitting HARD. The only drawback to this piece is that he cannot push very well due to his force blast click. Later in the game though don't be afraid to push him there for some more damage. If you can get him to that 3rd click later in the game its lights out for your opponent. 11 attack 3 damage willpower HSS? Pretty fair...

I hate this piece so freaking much! Mostly because I don't have him. There is a guy at my venue who runs him all the time with Edward Nigma, it's just nasty. He is the reason I always keep kid zoom on hand. Of course, even then he can still tk and perplex, whereas I just have 87 points zipping around doing jack all for my opponent to inevitably score.

This guy is amazing. Iused him in a 400 point golden age tournament. It was him and DC 75th Doomsday. He loved to carry Doomsday around and shoot while Doomsday would lay the beat down.

I cannot say enough good things about this piece. The mobility, the potential to really break a game wide open....all at a cost of 138 pts. With the right support, this piece can be unstoppable.

I've only played him twice in a tournament setting, but both times I have placed in the top 4 (2nd place both times), which is a testament to this figure and the game-changing potential he has.

This is a great candidate for Chase Thanos' TOY WITH YOU special power. A 10 speed value is plenty for most purposes, and a 14 attack value is just flippin' sweet !! ;)

600 point teams. I was the white lanterns going against Sinestro corps. I had Flash with the infinity gauntlet. Finally came down to Flash 138pts vs 600pts Sinestro corps, and the Flash WON!!! At full health too!! I had a cigarrette after words.

Looks like he would be pretty boss as a potential Galactus Herald. Power Cosmic, +1 to all stats, invuln on top of that dial is hard to beat for, you know, no points.
