Can you click a sheild agent and give someone an extra click of damage, then taxi the recipient up and fire, or must they remain standing by the sheild agent to benefit? Add the same question for the +1 from a Hydra team, and the extra click of damage from Enhancement.
Picture the following situation:
Part of your team involves Nick Fury, various sheild clix, a Doombot, Rookie Cyclops, an AIM Medic, and random Avenger.
As things start, there is a small block in the center of the map. In the center back of this block is Cyclops who is standing behind his Doombot Taxi, and is surrounded in his other four adjacent squares by three sheild agents and Nick Fury.
You get first turn, and you make your leadership. In a 500 point game, you have six actions to take. You click all Four surrounding shield agents/Nick Fury, then use his free move to fly doombot up, dropping Cyc in the square in front of him. Doombot is mimicing Hydra team ability to give Cyclops a +1 to his attack, making it a 10.
At this point, Cyclops can perform a running shot, and split his his between two targets on the opponents starting area.
If I go through all this, would he be able to do the additional four clicks of damage between those two shots, and would he still get the +1 from the doombot when he steps away to do the running shot?
To complicate matters even further, suppose I replace a sheild agent with Spiral. She mimics the sheild ability along with everyone else, then switches to Hydra ability just before Cyclops takes off. If she has a clear line of sight (granted it would be across the entire board), would Cyclops carry a +1 from her as well?
Finally, impose the same situation on a character with Enhancement. Does the Enhancing character have to be right next to the attacking character when they make the attack, or could, in this case, cyclops take the enhancement, then be flown up and fire for extra clicks of damage?
I like going with first turn all-out assaults to cripple someone's team, but this one is so complex, I'm not sure I can make it work without some rules clarifications.
