My last poll was more of an annoyed joke, but this one is a bit more educational. Which one of these reasons do you think is a good enough reason for someone, not necessarily yourself, to leave the game. Maybe a friend has left, maybe you left but came back, or maybe you have considered leaving for these reasons:
The increase of price.
The decline in sculpt/paint quality.
The increase of Chase/one per brick characters.
The increase of power creep, making older figures unplayable.
The economy.
Local venue/player issues.
Bored of the game.
Significant other issues.
Future death of the game is the only reason.
Other (please explain).

To answer you I guess I will list my biggest concerns using some of your options and give you my feeling on those topics. I've never lquit the game, but have considered it.
The increase of price. Right now I'm ok with the cost, but if it would start increasing the prices to possible the same as Star Wars/ D&D minis and having the quality of the sculpts keep declining I would seriously think about calling it quits. It was their prices that stopped me in the beginning from getting into either of those games.
The decline in sculpt/paint quality. I know there trying to reduce costs and make a larger profit, but its getting redicilous at how bad most of the regular sculpts are. The only ones they seem to care about are the SRs and a few of the Rares. As far as the paint job goes, if its bad I'll fix it myself. I've done it in the past and will continue to do it.
The increase of Chase/one per brick characters. Never been a fan of the chase program and now that we have 10 mini chases in a set. I think its stupid. No more then 4 at the most. They easily could have made some of them the LE prizes and it would have made people happier. If they continue this increase of chase type figures. It will alter my buying options.
The increase of power creep, making older figures unplayable. Not really to much so. I miss using some of my older figures, but have found some really good replacements out there. The biggest thing I'm doing is repainting old sculpts and putting them on the new dials. I have the best of both worlds then.
The economy. This is the biggest one I feel. Right now Neca is trying to shove new heroclix figures at us almost monthly. SLOW DOWN. Were not made of money but your acting like we are. On a personnel note I have had to cancel my case of Giant X-Men due to having other priorities that must come first. It will be the first time since Legacy that I have not gotten a case.
Local venue/player issues. We have a solid group of players right now, but were small and no new growth in sight. No one seems to be interested in joining anymore. A very bad sign at any venue.
Bored of the game. Not really, but I am at times just tired of playing. I started with my two sons back with IC and we have been going ever since. But with my eldest son (Our HC judge) wrapping up his college degree and going full speed into 40K and my youngest son away at school in his 2nd year of college and having other things to do. I can see the interest in the game declining at our house.
Significant other issues. I can see this being a issue with some. people. Trying out this game for the first time, some people will have an problem due to the size of the rulebook and then when they discover the errata/faqs, corrections and etc, etc. When you pick up a game piece and discover that its wrong to begin with (Example: B&B Power Girl's card). I can see some people saying no thanks to the game due to too many mistakes in production just so they can push out the product as fast as they can.
Future death of the game is the only reason. Eventually I think our game will end. I've always planned to play till the end, but with some of the issues I wrote about above I honestly dont know if I will be there.
Also the value of the pieces decrease more and more. I know I'm not alone in having picked up lots of pieces during the firesales that people were putting up after Topps tried to kill the game. With declining interest at home and possible in my area for the game. Why not just sell off most of it and try and recoup some of the money I spent. With the economy as bad as it is today I know of more then one former player who has done just what I said. Sold everything off just to get as much of their money back.
Are any of my comments good enough reasons to quit. As of today no. Are they good enough tomorrow, I dont know.

Money, Venue, Bored.
I'd understand those reasons. If you simply can't afford it, you can't afford it. If there's nowhere good to play (assuming you can't get home games), then you're stuck.
If you're not having fun... then get out now!

The increase of price. Would be a factor. It would really depend upon what it did to prices at the wholesale level. We've seen far more impact in this respect at the retail level than the wholesale one in terms of $/clix.
The decline in sculpt/paint quality. A true one might prove to be a problem. So far I keep hearing much sound and fury over such claims but have generally found them to have little substance. Some people cannot differentiate between sculpt and paint, and some don't recognize a well-done sculpt unless it's doing something "dynamic."
The increase of Chase/one per brick characters. That's an annoyance for me, but I've come to some sense of peace on chase pieces: They're instant commodities where all the fun has been instantly squeezed from them. Their best (and, for me, pretty much only purpose) is to sell them to well-heeled rubes who are willing to pay princely sums for sad little pieces of plastic.
The increase of power creep, making older figures unplayable. For me it's more of a drive than a deterrent. I look at the most recent Namor, Thing, etc. and it just makes me hungrier for comparable remakes of other, previously under-served characters. I do want to make a distinction here: Older pieces are still playable -- the game hasn't been completely restructured -- but, yes, the majority of them aren't going to be competitive. Fewer still if one doesn't use Feats.
The economy. If the money's not there, cuts have to be made, yes. This is one of two main factors that saw me dropping my regular comics buys this past year.
Local venue/player issues.
Bored of the game. Not likely. I'm in it for the characters, and if anything the game itself has only gotten more interesting. Now, if I had to go back to the game as it existed for the first few years, then I'd be bored.
Significant other issues. I was widowed early April of 2010. Sue, my wife, was always encouraging to me in any such hobbies, though. I feel bad for the people whose poor matches find them being scorned for their interest in clix. (However, if one's dropping $90 on a chase piece and the couple doesn't already have their full financial house in order, then the guy's deserving of some scorn.)
Future death of the game is the only reason. I kept interested in the game during its first death. A lack of new pieces doesn't make my existing collection go away. If I thought it was truly gone it would just kick my interest in mods into gear.

sculpt/ paint quality
i don't care if its the sculpt thats bad or the paint, if the piece looks like crap then it looks like crap. im not going to spend so much money just to have to repair the pieces myself.
I'm a bit baffled by this one. Why should I have an opinion on whether anyone else's reasons are good enough for anything? Let people have their own opinions, it's not for me to judge whether the reason they aren't having fun is legitimate enough.

I will tell you this: had the Bombastic Bag-man, Doppleganger, Spider-Hulk, and Cosmic Spider-man been Chases, I would have likely dropped the whole damn game out of frustration. I've put a lot of time and money into clix, but I've put more time and more money into being a Spider-man fan. There is just no way I could have countenanced paying up to $100 a piece for 4 pieces that I would have deemed "Must Have" pieces. Yet, as a completist, I would have either had to pony up the dough or give up the game. No middle ground there.
Also, I hate Chase figures period. Had those 4 pieces ended up as Chases - I would have retaliated against Wizkids greed by chucking it altogether.
If that makes me small and petty and unreasonable, well, I'm cool with that.

To correct mine since the Significant other issue is about the wife and not what I wrote.
My doesnt object completely about clix, but she has little interest in them. She'll listen more when its our sons talking about them. But when she met me many years ago she knew then that I was into comic books/superheroes, so when the game started she knew I would try and get the whole family involved in it. At one point I did have all of our kids involved in clix. But the girls were not as interested as the boys were.
But as she put it years ago. I would rather have you building/painting models, reading comic books then out drinking/gambling your money away. At least you have something to show for what you spent.

As a lantern fan, at least 13/22 of the Marvel Chases aren't Spider-Man related (you guys just have 2 if you count the skrull).

Dude, I don't know how you fans cope with that **** either. I'd be going nuts, selling blood, organs, etc... To say nothing of Superman fans who still have to shell out $100 or more for those chases.
I have both HoT Chases because I pulled one and a friend gave me the other (Thor Frog) as a Christmas gift in '09.
The only other Chase I have is Zombie Spider-man from Supernova because a friend gave me that one for Christmas last year.
I don't have the other Zombie Chases nor do I have the SI Chases - I just can't bring myself to pay the going rate for any of those pieces. Chasing the four WoS "chase" figures would have been adding insult to injury and I'd have likely thrown my hands up in frutration and just eBayed all I have.

Well, this Superman fan copes with it by... quietly accepting that I'll never actually have one and weeping, just a little, into his pillow every night. : - )

As it's been hinted earlier I think the best excuse is "if you're not having fun, don't play" seriously, this is a game intended to be fun. If you're not enjoying it, for whatever reason, then you most certainly do not have to play. Plus, this is a Mini game, not an MMO it's not like you're tethered to a 15-17$ a month fee, you could always just put the mini's away, and bring them out to play when you feel like. As long as you have the material, the game can never go away, and you can come back to it whenever you feel. So. I guess "quitting" is a hard concept to grasp for a table top. It's more, "i'll get back to you later"

I am currently stopped due to a 24 hour restriction.
I am not a full fledged completionist, I just decided to get all of Crisis, as it is my favorite set (being a Titans fan and all).

Please bear in mind that I don't have any intentions of quitting the game. However, if I did, then these would more than likely be the causes behind me saying farewell to Heroclix.
The increase of price.
This is already a factor for me. I used to be able to afford the casual purchase of a booster or two, but this is no longer viable at the current price point. Since SI, I have gone the route of buying a CUR set. With DC75 I actually bought a case - but received a good bulk purchase discount as an incentive to do so.
The economy.
My personal financial priorities revolve around my family. If for any reason I lost my job or got to the point where the choice was between paying bills/buying groceries and buying Heroclix, there would be no contest. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.... and of the game.

I have to say, now that I am playing a bit more, there is a real pressure on my wallet for me to get a lot of things that this game offers. Not just the Neca stuff. I'd love to get the Grid Reality maps and some of the others I've seen. This is a good community with talented people and I like being a part of it, even if I'm largely a spectator.
But the Economy is having its way with my household's finances, and it makes me sad in many ways. It also makes me sad to see some of the chase/brick things that Neca is doing. I think the White Lanterns were a good idea taken to an extreme; we did not need 10 of those figures. Web of Spider-Man seemed to be done well, excepting it's craptacular brick figure. I'm eyeing GSX with a fair amount of interest, wondering what kind of balance (if any) will get struck. The one thing that has helped is that a number of people have put together CUR sets and the like that can be purchased online at a decent price, which has helped with "the Economy."
After that, I'd say venue issues would be next. I have a GREAT venue; but the player base just isn't as big as it was, or as consistent. Our Judge works hard to keep people happy, interested, and enjoying the game, and as far as I'm concerned, there aren't enough Judge prizes in the world for him (he'd share most of them with us anyway).
One of the things that I will give Neca all kinds of props for is their change in distribution regarding online stores. I think this is an extremely good policy and hope that it marks a way of finding that elusive balance between selling product, making venues happy, and making customers happy.
The only way I quit buying is if they quit selling compatible clix with what I have already. I may not buy them all, but I will buy the ones I want.

I think that the Neca Wizkids era has a bright future. Take for example Brightest day Deadman. His ability to "Summon" characters with those either of those two key words is amazing. With the chases being so numorous in this last set, I managed to get my hands on flash, wonder woman, and green Arrow white lanterns, as well as m bibtb sinestro. I think Neca is at least trying. Look at how many commons are now generics and or easly needed pieces. I like having extras of the comic popular characters to give to non clix players to generate more interest in the game.
I guess I said all that to say until neca starts going the way of topps, where bricks do not at least retain 75% of their value after I open them, I will loyally buy my bricks and smile that it is still cheeper than a crack addiction!

Venue, Venue, Venue,....
I am one that can not get home games,... so my playing comes from in store tourneys. if I can not play at a venue, there is no reason for me to buy. this is the reason why I didn't buy Horrorclix and Starwars minis. although I bought a bit when they first came out. I didn't buy much after because I couldn't get games in.

These are pretty valid things :
The increase of price ( boosters have gotten away from impulse buys, diminishing returns on boosters after a certain point )
The increase of Chase/one per brick characters (decreasing completists).
The increase of power creep, making older figures unplayable (sometimes too much creep).
The economy.
Future death of the game.
