your list seems a little faulty without GL Jon Stewart, who was confirmed by Comic Shop News on Wed.

It's also generally accepted that Cosmic Justice will include at least one Legionnaire.

That's funny, I have seen the same list with exception that Jon Steward was in place of Hal Jordan.

We're just goin' by what we got so far. Our Xplosion info was right on the dinero so we'll see where this one goes. Just ask WizKids, we can't "confirm nor deny if this list is accurate" but for now what the hell, go tell your friends. Til next time, kids...

ACCKKKKK!! NO, The next sets Superman is going to be the Electric Blue one??? FAH, wheres the remake with the 4 Damage? What, is WK content to have Supes weaker than half the Marvel Universe?

also rember that Cosmic Justice is almost 4 months away, lots of things could change. even if this list was at one time acurate four months....lots can happen

remember also that whle Comic SHop News had a lot right when they anounced the first Marvel expansion, they also claimed it was going to be called "Fantastic Forces"

I printed out and took in the DC list that twinz posted a link to, and I made sure to tell everyone before they looked "This could be completely FAKE or inaccurate in parts, but some people believe it's the real deal." For the most part, it went over well with the seven other people I game with. It's a good sign, I thought.

Lobo's inclusion was popular with everyone.

Um...

The person who first posted this list said that it was a fake the first time he posted it. And it's been modified a couple of times since then to include the figures that are known to be in the set (like John Stewart).

This isn't like the Xplosion list, which was leaked. We know for a fact that this list is fake.

This has been listed before with pretty much the same characters. But there's another thread talking about comic shop news that states that Penguin, Bizarro, Batgirl, & Wonder Woman are in the next set. Penguin and Bizarro aren't listed in this list. Seems a little fishy.

...uummm...Penguin and Bizarro ARE on the list...

My mistake. You're right. I'm just blind. Trying to check this while I'm at work and doing this at the same time. But like scowlingone said, someone already put this up as a fake.

Generally accepted doesn't mean WizKids will do it. A few weeks ago, it was 'generally accepted' that the new expansion would be called Emerald Dawn, and that proved incorrect.

I have a couple of problems with the list. For one, I recognize everyone one on the list. Lemme explain- when the first DC set came out there was a few characters that I've never heard of before, like Arcane and TO Morrow. I may not be the biggest of DC fans, but your list just seems to have too many big names.

For 2, there seems to be a lot of Batman themed characters, which would make sence for a Batman-themed set, but not for a GL-themed set. I mean, about every single popular Batman themed hero/villian will be out in just 2 sets.

Then again, what do I really know anayway?

Who said Cosmic Justice is going to be GL-themed?

Since this is unofficial speculation, I believe that I am allowed to add some totally completelly unofficial speculation info. I will even add a couple of "will not happen" info mixed in so it will look like it was just speculation.

Nice try on the generics! (that's all I will say)

It would be very cool to have Rocket Red already, but I am afraid that he is not in this set.

The vet version of Wonder Girl will be called Troya and hopefully they will all have different costumes.

Lobo is a REV and reverse Flash is a unique.

Green Lantern - Sentinel is a unique and there is a Green Lantern in the set that is not in the list.

Those are complete speculations and maybe I don't even know what I am talking about...

i want to beleive this one really badly....it's got so many great figs.

but i can't. here's why:

not one unique you've got listed is female.

i know that may sound like a really bad reason, but listen, it just wouldn't happen. the ratio for the regular figs is 25% female to male. there is no way in all of hell that they'd put out a set with no female uniques.

i know it may sound like strange reasoning, but look at the other sets and tell me you don't see a pattern.....

No I agree whole heartedly they seem to very carefully balance good guys bad guys males females in every set and even have a recouring female click in the marvel line. good observation malchyor.

If this is a true GL theme I can see Katma Tui or Jade as a unique
female.

Where's the medics? Clearly, every group has their common medics, but none are listed in this group (which is why I believe it's a fake). Fun, but fake.

Why is this thread even continuing? For those of you who didn't check the link that was posted .... here is the first time (that I'm aware of) that the list was posted. Several other members have started threads, posting that the below list was real and trying to get a buzz started. Here's a hint ... whenever a "real" list is posted ... it gets pulled down quickly and generates LOTS and LOTS of buzz.

Now, imagine if, instead of creating a list with a goal of humour, we tried to create a list that was going for realism. Accordingly, it would have to include the strongly rumoured figures some have claimed to have seen behind closed doors. It would also have to include some junk at the top of the list for generics. And because it's DC, we have to see more Batman and Superman characters, no matter how many were in the first set. So...how does the following list look:

What do you think? I probably need to hold back more on some of the big name figures for the second expansion.

Another thing about the list. In theory, Wonder Woman is a major character, so logic would suggest at least one AE for her in this set. Circe, Cheetah<<one or two>> or Silver Swan is my guess.

And considering there is a Wonder Girl on the YJ team, they may well be refering to her<<though I doubt it highly...not exactly a named player>>

A few more "flaws" to point out;
This list goes so far as to spell out who the green lantern is (supposedly Hal, but that's an argument for another time), but then shouldn't Superman be listed-
Superman (U) #096 - Electric Blue Supes ?

But the real argument is that "shazam" is not the name of any character. It IS the name of Captain Marvel's book, for which any character would actually be named "Captain Marvel" and not 'shazam.'

Finally, there are way, way way too many batman villians for the set to be well rounded, and there is nothing in here that would lead WK to name the set COSMIC justice since most of the figures are from Gotham.

All in all though, it is a nice try. Its a good thing I've know the Twinz for a while (from way back in OP) or else I'd think they were chanelling Todd marrone.

Actually azs, SHAZAM is a character! He is the wizard who gives the powers HE possessed when young that he got from Solomon, Hercules, Atlas, Zues, Achilles, and Mercury, to Billy Batson and the rest, creating the Marvel family. It is his name that Billy yells to activate the lightning bolt. He resides on the Rock of Eternity and acts as a sage/mentor for the Marvels.

And with Shazam as a unique, we should have at least Captain Marvel as R/E/V. And I don't see Shazam coming out before we have at least Captain Marvel, Mary Marvel and Captain Marvel Jr. out as Heroclix pieces.

I'll take any character from the Marvel Family at this point. Even Uncle Dudley. Even Hoppy, the Marvel Bunny. And both of those are probably marginally more likely than Nippo. But you know what they say - "You can't be a golden age character without an embarassing racial stereotype in your rogue's gallery".

I think because of copyright issues that went on with DC and
Marvel in the past any Captain Marvel's in the DC set will most
likely be reffered to as Power of SHAZAM much like they are on the covers of comic books.

A few Years back Supergirl teamed up with Mary Marvel in a
DC Plus comic. Mary was reffered to as Power of Shazam.
Another DC Plus was Superboy and Freddy Freeman (AKA
Captain Marvel Jr., CMJ, and CM3) Also he was labled Power of
SHAZAM. Then in the second to last issue of Superman: Man of Tomorrow (Superman's skip week book) The Big Red Cheese
teams up with Supe's and is also just the Power of SHAZAM.

I apologise in advance for over stating :-)

Captain_Comet, DC is not allowed to use "Captain Marvel" or names like that on the covers of their comics. But, in other formats, I don't think that's the case. Someone told me about the old Overpower card game. In it, Marvel's Cap was called "Captain Mar-Vell" and DC's was called "Captain Marvel." My guess is that would be the same case for HeroClix.
