Hey everyone!
in the NYC area and looking for an all weekend gaming convention that features at the very least, 8 hours of Heroclix? Look no further than this link:
RECESS! (http://nerdnyc.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=47601)
at the 11th hour, I was able to get Heroclix added to the schedule, and will be running casual events Saturday and Sunday Night. Here's the schedule listings:
Saturday
6:30-10:30 Heroclix, [bg] Scott Matkovich — 3C, TABLE 3
Sunday
6:30-10:30 Heroclix, [bg] Scott Matkovich — 3F, TABLE 2
- Saturday
- 6:30-10:30pm
- Heroclix
- Boardgame
- Scott Matkovich
- 2-8+ players
- All ages
- Serious or Silly, up to you
- Who would win... Wolverine or Batman? Wonder Woman or Storm? Superman or
The Incredible Hulk? Play your favorite heroes from Marvel and DC Comics
in a drag out, beat down brawl to attain ultimate glory and bragging
rights! The game plays like a miniature game but with simple and fast
rules, no need to measure movement or consult complicated books or charts.
All the important information is directly on your heroes miniature base
which can be rotated as they take damage to reflect how they change and
react to the tide of battle!

It's going to be a fun event, with Miniature painting demos, Board Games RPGs, card games and more! Meet NYC Nerds like you and play games with them all weekend long! I'm hoping to find some new clix players this way, but it would be great to meet some vets there too! Come on down and help me spread the gospel of clix, and maybe even help us get a manhattan clix scene going!
the Convention is $20 for one day, $30 for the weekend. It runs from morning until night! Its a great bargain. Hope to see you there, even with this late notice!
