In other news, this will probably be the last mafia game I run for awhile.

Everyone wants to mod a few games and several people want to mod a ton of games. I just don't think we really have the consistant player base for it anymore so for the good of the community, I'll not be modding any games for the rest of the semester and instead, I'll play in a couple more games than I normally would.

I would like to run this series (eventually) to at least game 8, as Wylie Runs the Voodoo Down is my favorite 100 Bullets story.

It's a shame actually, as I'd like to run a bunch of games since I have so many ideas.
Yet you're right, it seems like the player base has decreased (or people just don't enter games anymore when they don't know the source material).
This makes more obscure titles harder to find people for, since a while ago people would just do it for the hell of it.

What's changed? People are more busy? Lots of players have left? I went through the older games and Carlos could find 40 people for his games, and all others had at least twenty.

I think it's mostly that players have left. I don't see Carlos, Thawmus, Shel, Antipathy, ABF, Shadow, Biz, DC, JackA, Uknown, Madslaust, Iron Ham, TMNT, NotYou, Bigkahuna or hellskingpin much anymore and most of them didn't mod their own games very often. Then Rokk's had some life issues and Doomsie hardly plays anymore. So basically, I think we've got 2/3rds the players (maybe less) and the same number of mods.
