We're excited to hold a large event at Coliseum Gaming and hope too see familiar faces from the Midwest Regional Championship last September.

Product will be discounted throughout the day with bricks of Giant Sized X-men at $90 and boosters at $10!

Very excited for this event! I went down to Coliseum this afternoon to check out the new venue since they moved recently, and it looks great! A lot of room! See everyone in a couple of weeks!

So I have the final prize tally for the Spring Fling.

Prizes:

Brick of Giant Sized X-men

Three Super Booster (one of which will be given away for fellowship)

Laminated Madripoor Lowtown/Krakoa maps

Plus more!

Prizes will be handed down from 1st to last place (1st chooses, 2nd chooses, ect) with enough prize support to make sure everyone that attends leaves with a prize!

Formats:

Signup for the Sealed portion of the event will begin at 10am with boosters opened at 11am, 10 minutes to build a team, followed by three 50 minute rounds. Fellowship vote will happen after the sealed rounds.

The top 8 from the Sealed portion will continue into the 300pt Modern Age event.

Battle Royals can start as soon as four players can get together. For this, boosters of GSX will be discounted to $8 a pack with the last man standing receiving an LE.

We'll have product discounted throughout the day with bricks of Giant Sized X-men at $90, boosters at $10, Brightest Day and Blackest night sets at $22, and more!

Achievements!
For the first time, Omahaclix will be rolling out with an achievement list to go alongside the main event. Achievements are first come, first served with LE prizes for each. Once unlocked, you'll get your name on a Achievement board and a prize.

Spring Fling achievements 2011:
Snake eyes - Roll the first critical miss with a figure.

Showoff - Roll the first critical hit with a figure.

First Blood - First KO of the Spring Fling.

Hulk Smash! - Deal 5 or more damage from an attack with an object.

Lazarus Pit in my pocket - roll a 6 while using regeneration.

Commonplace - KO a super-rare using a common or uncommon figure.

Behold, OPTIC BLAST! - Deal 4 or more damage with Cyclops.

Student of Xavier - Mind Control an opponents figure into KOing another opposing figure.

Die, X-chicken! - KO an opposing figure using Magneto.

THE ISLAND AWAKES! - Roll a 6 while using the Krakoa map ability.

We have enough product set aside for 30-40 people, not counting what the store will have for sale normally and enough prize support for the same amount of people.
