Help pick Darq's next Mafia game [Archive]

Okay, I usually don't do this, but I have a couple thoughts in my head and can't choose which one to do. So help me out:

*The Umbrella Academy (likely a small game, 15 or so)

*The Best of DarqFeonix (I've run about 15 games, easy for a Best of)

*Embrace the HAWTness V (afraid I've burned my way threw most great roles, but it's popular)

*Invincible (I think one was run a few years ago)

*Lynch or Vanilla (tried to run this a while ago. Anyone not voting during the day is Vanilla at Night)

*Something completely different... Recommendations welcome

I picked HAWTness because I don't do well in Best Of games and I don't know the other themes. Maybe "other" would have worked as well.

Seriously as awesome as hot chicks are, I think I prefer your comics related games.

That said, I voted for Vanilla or lynch cause it sounds cool. Now what does that actually entail???

Eh, it's all good, this was more to gauge interest in some I didn't think many would be interested in, like Umbrella Academy. Good to see if/when I run that I should be able to grab some peeps.

I'm leaning towards Lynch or Vanilla, mostly because I think I have the framework set up from over a year ago. We'll see what additional votes come in (I'm excited Something Else didn't garner many votes :))

I'm good with anything honestly. I've played two of your games and both were excellent. I voted for HAWTness because I think it allows for the most writing flexibility and creativity on your part.

Seriously, my daughter told me that she wants me to tell her everything that happens in that game when it starts.

Heck, between the Whedon mafia & Umbrella Academy she might just pressure me to remove my vendetta or something :laugh:

We have like a dozen games on going or preparing to start, so no rush on any of these. Umbrella will be done this year, and will likely be small.

Dude, try something like Judd Winick Mafia or another mainstream comic theme. I love your takes on comic games, but a lot of your themes are foreign to me.

Comics-wise, I'd need to find a good storyline to copy. I've thought about The Phalanx Covenant, but it's been a while since I read it, and I don't think I have the copies. Maybe Fatal Attractions... hmmm...
