As much as I'm trying to block those visuals from my memory, I recall seeing Peter Parker in briefs.
Im gonna give it to you becasue Ive only remembered seeing Pete in Breifs (the first time in Web #1 when the Symbiote left him), but everyone seems to be in boxers these days. With his costume being as tight as it is, boxers would just not be functional and Petey jsut doesnt seemt he bikini kinda guy. I guess he could wear boxer breifs, but Ill just keep imagining him in a pair of tighty whities.

The whole question sounds like a conversation Jerry Seinfeld and George Costanza would have at the coffee shop.

Moving on: The Marvel comic Tower of Shadows changed its title to what as of the 10th issue?

If you think that's creepy check out Reign #1, you get to see Petey as an old dude, with his dangler out a' waggin'. BLEORTCH!! I haven't recovered.

Then there is "Jeepers On The Loose", which is kinda like Ghost Rider, only with a jeep instead of a motorcycle. And instead of a stunt man, it's a family of Jehovah's Witnesses driving that thing.

No, Jean was dead before Kit joined the team so she couldnt reall yhave given her the origial trainer. Jean did offer her green micro mini costume to Jubes, but after holding it up to see if it would fit, she lamented the lack of endowments that all the other X Chicks seem to have from the start and passed on it.

I do recall another issue, after Wolvie, Jubes and Psylocke escaped the Mandarin, and Jubes noticed all the women who talked to Wolvie all were well-endowed on top, she didn't say it, just open her collar, looked down and the expression was there.

Anyways, didn't you just answer your own question ???

Fi-na-lee! Yup. It was that yellow beret. I think Jubes even wore it when she left Xaviers for the Mass academy. Jean wore it when she entered the school and a new life, Jubes did the same thing. I do think that Jubes might have sent it on to Kit when she was in Excalibur, but Im not 100% on that.

Yep, G-S Defenders #5 it was. In those early Defenders issues it was implied that he was the same Vance Astro as was in the Guardians of the Galaxy, but later events showed the GotG to be from an alternate timeline. Good job!

Yeah, he was in the Avengers - Initiative #1 issue. Looks like he might lead a team or be part of a team outside of NY (maybe the team will be in Conn. since that is where they were training). And Firestar quit. How long before she comes out of retirement (will it be before or after Cap's return???)

The Hotel Galactus.

The Shi'ar Imperial guard went there to kill the big G, they killed someone else, Photon (Monica) ly killed someone, and Scourge (whom Monica killed) had killed a hotel inspector. Then the bodies, all rolled in a carpet each, were mixed up.
Also featured an appearance by Dazzler, with her body guards (multipule man) with Nova asking Galactus what does she (Dazzler) have that she (Nova) doesn't, and a drolling G says "Nothing, just more of them". :p

Name three former Fallen Angels who were also members of X-Force.

Konmel
05/01/2007, 12:32
I never read X-Force back in the '90's but I do recall the limited series Fallen Angels. It's been awhile though. IIRC, Boom-Boom (Tabitha) was a Fallen Angel. Wasn't Rusty (the fire guy) another one? A third though ... ouch. I guess the question is who were the other Fallen Angels; I'm not 100% confident but wasn't Leech, Artie, Devil Dinosaur and Moon-boy and the Vanisher members? Wasn't a Madrox clone also a member? Well, I got two (I think) - someone else can finish it.

NorthstarX
05/01/2007, 12:34
Poor Rusty, he was never an X-Forcer or Fallen Angel, he was with X-Factor, the X-Terminators, the New Mutants, the MLF and then the Acolytes before he died at the hands of Holocaust.

Poor Rusty, he was never an X-Forcer or Fallen Angel, he was with X-Factor, the X-Terminators, the New Mutants, the MLF and then the Acolytes before he died at the hands of Holocaust.

Hmm, then maybe I got Fallen Angels and X-Terminators confused. They both did come out around the same time and weren't too rememberable. Anyway, I seem to recall Sunspot being a part of one, and I'm pretty sure he was in X-Force (all I know of X-Force is that it took over after New Mutants ended with #100). I'm still at a lost for a third.

For some reason, I find it hard to believe that the Green Goblin would be horrified by that particular sight. Well, maybe if it was the Goblin as depicted in the 70's, who actually loved his own son, and not the current Goblin whose an a-hole. But, that's just my opinion.

You know? I never noticed before, but, that "new" costume of the Goblin's makes him look a lot like a skrull.

The outfit also makes him look fat, but thankfully, he's not a woman, so, he wouldn't get as ticked mentioning that bit.

True, it's not written in stone, but that seems to me the way it works around here. If nobody gets it, some clues might be thrown out first and then eventually, to keep the thread alive and the ball rolling, the answer is revealed if nobody gets it and a new one is asked.

I recall asking a good question that stumped everyone and even after throwing out about 4-5 clues, finally revealed the answer because it seemed nobody would get it. Sure, maybe someone new could have come along a few weeks later and answered it correctly, but we'll never know.

well there werent really any clues to throw out. I did post the pic. It was in an issue of What The?. The Hero was Goon Knight, a parody of Moon Knight and how he was being portrayed in the 1990s. They grittied him up and basically gave him the Cable treatment.

And I left the question for as long as I did because there is 2 other Marvel threads and figured maybe someone would ask questions to feel out an answer. And if someone stumps the thread, it should be up to them wheather they re-question or not.

When you said it was a "Bizzaro World"thing, I kinda figured it had to either be a "What The?" case or a one panel from "What If". I just couldn't think of it. I kept thinking of the Pulverizer.

Hahaha, well, after getting a beat down from a stereo typtified ethnic gang and losing his last 40 bucks, Bobby's brother (yeah they didnt name the main character but they named his comotose brother) broke his 3 mile Island snow globe in frustration. It was written by Steve Skeates and had a lot of contributing artist, though nowhere in th e book does it credit anyone. It was a joke. Kind of like a rude finger to all the drooling fan-boys who just had to have every issue of something just to have them. The story was generic. Nothing different then whats went before. But thats the beauty of it. Its like a living ha ha on the whole state of the industry at the time. Look on eBay and you can find it going really cheap. Its really is a conversation piece. Actually it can even be an intellectual piece looking back on how things turned out for the industry. All the False collectibility and the whole 1990s anti hero mess. Its high brow and tounge in cheeck and sarcastic. Its great but not for what it physically is. Its esoteric if you think about it. Or maybe Im giving it too much credit.

ok I'm not very good at coming up with question but I'll try

list 10 heroes/villains from the ultimate universe who have a different origin then their 616 counterparts :

eg : spiderman has the same origin as in both universes they are bitten by a radioactive spider. Same deal with Captain America or Tony Stark

Hmm Gonna give you venom, carnage, wasp and cable.

Don't really know if we can say son of satan and hellcat are heroes in the ultimate universe. They don't even have an origin as they are just humans

The origin of storm, collossus, nightcrawler and rogue is the same as in the 616 universe. they all got their powers because they are mutants.

their background is different but the way they gained their powers is identical otherwise you could just name about anybody.

4 down

6 to go

BTW Lusiphur just checked and actually the correct answer to your question is : No comic. Kitty Pryde kissed Peter first when they where in space both infected by a brood egg
