The goal: To collect all the actual information we have for WizKids non-HeroClix future releases, to classify it by its level of certainty, and to provide links to the places we got that information from. This post will be updated when more information appears.
This list is in alphabetical order.
Iron Maiden Board Game
There will be a stand alone Iron Maiden board game, in addition to a HeroClix compatible set.
There will be 4 detailed figures of "Eddie", the Iron Maiden mascot.
What may be an early sighting of Iron Maiden board game cards can be seen in the Cluttered Desk picture (http://heroclix.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/IMG_30191.jpg), to the left of the base of the large Superman figure in the middle of the picture.

Jeff Dunham
This game was announced at GAMA 2010.
Based on the Las Vegas comedian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeff_Dunham).
A party game, possibly built around a joke cards with an electronic reader.

The Hobbit Boardgame
The full title is The Hobbit: An Unexpected JourneyJourney to the Lonely Mountain Board Game
MSRP will be $49.99
Expected release date is October 17.
Designed by Eric Lang.
Based on the upcoming film.
Will have 5 pre-painted "HeroClix" miniatures, but is described as an "all new game". (Whether these will actually be HeroClix or if this is yet another misrepresentation in early descriptions remains to be seen.)
Can be played as one on one, or one vs up to three players.
Players can take the roll of Bilbo, Gollum, or two other unidentified "dark foes".

Lord of the Rings: Nazgūl
Note: This game is not to be confused with the Lord of the Rings HeroClix release.
The release date is May 30th.
Although the dials have been referred to as "HeroClix Dials" in various places, the dials are not HeroClix compatible.
The game is "semi-cooperative". It is possible for all players to lose. There will also be optional rules for fully cooperative game play.
There will be three different levels of difficulty that the game can be played at.
The game will include HeroClix figures, a gameboard, and several decks of cards (170 cards), 200 cubes, and 5 Nazgūl figures.
Players take the role of Nazgūl, attempting to stop the One Ring from reaching Mt. Doom.
Early sources stated the game was 1-4 players, but the box art says 3-5.
Ages 14 and up.
Playing time is 2-3 hours.

Pirates of the Spanish Main Shuffling the Deck
This represents a relaunch of the Pirates IP. It is not a continuation of the constructable strategy game.
This will be a card game.
This will be a fixed deck, single-purchase game.
It is designed by Bryan Kinsella (designer of Star Trek Fleet Captains, Hunger Games, and Lord of the Rings: Nazgūl for WK) and Phil Harding (Winner of their game designer contest).
If successful, it may lead to further Pirates products in the future.

Quarriors Expansion: Quarmageddon
The product is scheduled for release in June 6, 2012. Updated!
This product will feature 40 new dice, 6 new creatures, 2 new spells, 26 new cards, and new "advance rules for epic gameplay".
There will be a new "Spent" pile before dice are moved to the "used" area.
New game term: Immunity. Creatures with immunity cannot be affected by spells or Creature abilities.
The box will include space for all your existing Quarriors dice!
Advanced rules include:
Capturing two dice per turn instead of just one.
When you score a die, you can only cull the die that scored and you can only score the glory for that die if you cull it.
There will be a "Quorld Championship" tournament at one of the conventions this summer.

I saw the back of the smurf mock-up box, and had the game described to me, and the figures are not Heroclix. I can't remember if they also had dials, but the bases had directions in which each figure can move printed on them. That aspect would be similar to Creepy Freaks. I didn't have anyone tell me they weren't heroclix, but they certainly didn't have the same stats printed on the tops of the bases.
The game requires the four smurfs on the right to get to Papa smurf at the bottom, and deliver him past the bad guy (upper left - I forget his name) to the escape square. Bad Guy throws spells at them, and if they don't escape in time Bad Guy completes whatever dastardly deed he's attempting and the Good Smurfs lose. 1-4 players if I remember correctly.

I read the blog, I've played the games, I've spoken in the past with Wizkids folks, and I'm darn near 100% that Hunger Games and Christmas Story were one and done. I'm sure they weren't talking about new versions of those games, they were simply pointing out that they have these games available.
Personally I wouldn't use that blog to add to a "the evidence" thread because it wasn't really official stuff. Pics yes, blog no.

I'm sorry, but after reading through it, the only thing I see is...
Gutsy Smurf? Who the heck is Gutsy Smurf? I remember Hefty Smurf, but not Gutsy. Did he get PC'd?
Gutsy and Panicky Smurf are new for the movie. Why they felt the need for a Gutsy when we already had Hefty, I don't know. Maybe they wanted to avoid the tattoo.

Exactly. Either one is dicey. I talked to Wizkids folks directly and still mis-remembered the player numbers for Smurfs, so most "Justin told me" notes are potentially misremembered or possibly purposely misleading, or even made up to get on "the list" so to speak.
I guess my position is that I'd prefer "the evidence" threads to be official info only, either from Wizkids, wizkids staff, or by picture. Either that or color code secondary sources in teal. :)
I've been thinking seriously about some kind of "reliability coding" system for the threads. I promised a classification scheme when I started them but I haven't really thought of an elegant one. It's hard when even sources like ICv2 misreported stuff about GSX, and the Diamond/Alliance solicitations were riddled with errors.

The store I work at has an advanced copy of Expeditions. My boss will be checking sometime between now and Monday to see if it is O.K. for us to open it up and read the rules.
Right now all I get to do is show it to customers and drool over the sealed box.

Images of all four of the up-coming Pathfinder Beginner Box Heroes Fantasy Miniatures have been released. This joint venture of Paizo Publishing and WizKids Games is scheduled to release in October (see "New Pathfinder Minis Details").
The four all-new sculpts, produced by WizKids sculptors, represent the four pre-generated characters that are included in the upcoming Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Beginner Box, also scheduled for October release.
This is a non-random assortment. The suggested retail price will be $12.99. There are currently no plans for future pre-painted miniature sets.

Just noticed a bit of info you're missing. The Star Trek Expeditions Expansion announcement stated that it was an October release. :)

Got pointed out some dissapointing news reguarding the ships in Fleet Captians and the quality of the ships..............
Board Game Geek. I don't know this to be the case, but there certainly seems to be quite a buzz about it over there, and the pictures I've seen don't indicate that the figures are painted - just generic grey plastic for federation ships and green plastic for Klingon ships.
Argh. Thanks for pointing me in that direction....I found this....

I don't even know what to say about that.........the ships in Expeditions(where they are just a small part of the game) are going to be of better quality (highlighted and have decals) than the ships in Fleet Captain.......where ships are the main focus.

Sure. :p Let me try and word it beter:
I was not planning to spend a lot on SF anyway, but with Fleet Captains approaching at Warp speed I was considering not buying any at all (especially since it's technically not available in my country). Now that Fleet Captains is only approaching at Impulse, I think I have time to allocate some resources to Street Fighter instead. ;)

Updated with some minor facts from the WizKids Gen Con press release. Lord of the Rings Strategic Board Game will, apparently, now go under the name Lord of the Rings: Nazgūl. And there was much rejoicing for the much improved name. Mage Knight gets mentioned for the first time in a while and will apparently be a four player game.
Can anyone confirm for me that the two Smurfs games have, in fact, been released?

I was at the Star Trek convention this past weekend in Las Vegas, and John Van Citters, the guy in charge of CBS licensing, announced that Fleet Captains would be available in two versions: the standard version without painted minis, and a deluxe version WITH painted minis. I checked the website and there was no new information posted by Wizkids.
Has anybody else heard of this? I'd probably pay extra for the painted version if it becomes an option.

Wow, that is fantastic! I was expecting Romulans, but very pleased to get Cardassians as well. Now we just need Dominion, Borg, Ferengi, Vulcans, Andorians, Xindi and all the rest.

That's hard to say for sure Suttkus. :nervous:
I'll give it a shot but it's just going to be speculation based on stuff we know about the expansion and the base game.
Alot of that is flavor.....if I had to guess what it means (which doesn't count for much, I should add)
I would say that the following would indicate;
Corrupted Quiddity - possibly the dice alluded to that you would be putting in your opponents bags.
Demonic Overloards - New creatures. Now if they are standard and just react normally or potentially also get put in your opponents bag......who can say? I'd lean to just new monsters that probably key off the corrupted quiddity from your opponents.
Corrupted Spells - New spells. Same as the creatures. :shrug:
The contents are interesting though.....
20 new dice and 19 playing cards.
This is interesting because in Quarriors, with the exception of basic quiddity and the assistants, all of the creatures and spells (and the portals for that matter) are groups of 5 dice. With 20 dice that could mean that there will be 4 brand new dice collections (new Creatures + new Spells). And so far, not counting the promo cards, each creature dice set has 3 cards and each spell set of dice has 4 sets of cards. I would suspect that it would be 2 new creatures and 2 new spells(but there will be at least 1 of each) so it work out to be any of the following.........
(3 new creatures 1 new spells) = 20 dice and 13 cards......leaving 6 cards that will use the dice in the main set.
(2 new creatures 2 new spells) = 20 dice and 14 cards......leaving 5 cards that will use the dice in the main set.
(1 new creatures 3 new spells) = 20 dice and 15 cards......leaving 4 cards that will use the dice in the main set.

We finally have a release date for the Mage Knight board game! It's coming out in November (which makes November a busy month after October being a rather quiet one for WK).

An expansion for Star Trek Expeditions has been announced.
It will include figures for Chekov, Scotty, and Sulu.
It will include support for a five player game.
It will still use the Planet Nibia and Klingons scenario as its base.
This product is scheduled to be released in October.
The price point is $14.99.

I really hate the lack of info that Wizkids puts out for their non-Heroclix product. This expansion is supposed to be out THIS MONTH and we still don't know when. We also don't know if it actually includes anything other than 3 Heroclix figures in it (I'm hoping for at least some new Captains Log Supplemental Cards, if not a whole new mission). Grrrr.
It's my birthday tomorrow and I was hoping I'd be able to get this for my birthday. :devious:

Breakdown of contents
1 new basic card, Corrupted Quiddity (10 dice)
1 new spell type, Corrupted Spell/Incatation/Cantrip/Charm (4 cards/5 dice)
1 new monster type, Demonic Overlord regular/Mighty/Strong/Lesser (4 cards/5 dice)

Quarmageddon looks awesome. Did you look at that dice on the trolls? They get their one-asterisk power on their first level, but not on their second. I wonder what that is.

You don't need to but it might be a good idea.............it's similar to us having one click in snap shots of clix we get. It's not all of the info but with the 3 sides it is half the info.

- 40 new dice, all of which should be accounted for (no mention of how many cards are included yet,)
- New 'Advanced Rules'
- 6 new creatures (should be 30 dice)
- 2 New Spells (should be 10 dice)
Additionaly there are two more dice shown on the poster (a purple one and a light blue one) and info can probably be taken from it when we get a full sized image..........or Scott might be telling us we'll be seeing some more soon....

More updates for Lord of the Rings: Nazgūl, including, at long last, a release date: May 16th.
The game now has it's own page at WK (http://wizkidsgames.com/lord-of-the-rings-nazgul/), but continues to be a bit cagey about whether the figures inside will be HeroClix in the compatible sense. The box says "From the makers of HeroClix", which suggests that nothing in the game is meant to be HeroClix itself, but the contents list on WK's website identifies the game pieces as HeroClix.

Can't help you there.
But on the Quarrior front, when you did the last update you dropped the 'Gnome Barbarian'(in post #89) when you added in the 'Strong Gnome Barbarian' (which are 2 of 3 different version of the Gnome Barbarian.......with only the expected 'Mighty Gnome Barbarian' yet to be revealed).

I finally got to play it a few times in the last couple of weeks. It's a really fun game. Easy to learn, quick to play. Tempting to buy even. :)
I didn't really think I would like it, as dice tend to annoy me. But I was wrong.
If you've even played the card game Dominion, it's quite similiar, but with dice instead of cards.
YES! Finally got to play Quarriors. Really enjoyed it. Am making the guy who bought it bring it more. Kind of an unholy union of MtG and Dominion played with dice.

For anyone who doesn't want to mess with the facebook picture. The bottom (black) and the top (white) inserts hold 315 dice! The 130 in the base game, 20 from the Rise of Demons expansion, and the 40 from the Quarmageddon expansion is only 190, so HOPEFULLY that means they have big plans for future expansions.
Love Quarriors, great for a break in between clix games or when you only have like 20-30 minutes.
I just stumbled into an ICv2 article from January listing two other Hunger Games games from WK. I thought my network of secret agents was better than this! What am I paying you all for?

I believe that the amazon add shows what ever game the page is about (when there is some on ebay that would show up as well, you can see what it would look like on the Risk Legacy page (http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/105134/risk-legacy)).
Like I said, it's just the first time I've seen a price for Quarmageddon.
