I need help on a 500 Team

I've had many good experiences in 500pt battles. Though I must say I've had more good experiences eating pies, darn if they aren't great!

Are you looking for help on building a 500pt team, or just opinions and stories about them? I like 500pt teams, personally, they really give you a lot of chances to put together a force good for any eventuality. They also allow you to pull out big uber guns and use figs rarely played in smaller builds.

I've had a lot of fun with a SHIELD/Avenger force. Fought my friend's JLA team. He rushed up V Superman to inflict some pain. moved Black Panther into position to outwit Impervious. Then I used a Veteran Hawkeye+four SHIELD units (also had a Scarlet Witch ready with a probability re-roll) and landed a seven damage smackdown on the blue spandex boy scout! Oh man, that was sweet! After that it was all about Wasp flying around Hercules to finish everything else off.

If you're looking for team builds for 500 points you're opening up a lot of possibilities. Are you playing mixed? Pure Marvel? Dupes or no dupes? What type of figures do you have available? What sort of team are you looking for? If you clarify you'll probably get more people to respond with what you're looking for.
