WOW folks, I have been informed that my little shop has the biggest tournaments in the state of Oregon. We have 8-14 players showing up twice a week now. EVERYONE wins SEVERAL prizes every night, and we provide a fun, family atmosphere to play in. Here is our most recent schedule;
FEBUARY MARCH
HEROCLIX SCHEDULE
#ALL GAMES START AT 6PM SHARP
(Buy-in proceeds go toward prizes, EVERYONE wins a prize!)
February 5th & 8th
Super Bowl Brawl: “THE BATTLE OF THE LANTERNS”
500pt Golden Age $5 BUY-IN
PRIZE: LE #101 x3, & 2 White Lanterns
-NO BFC’S
- Add +4 to range of any 3-D lantern used
- GREEN, WHITE, BLACK, or YELLOW LANTERN do not cost the additional 5 pts to play (THANKS TO THE PACKERS & STEELERS)
- All lantern characters gain +2 to range, any lantern character with a range of 0 gains a range of 6!
February 12th & 15th “ARMOR WARS”
300pts Golden Age $5 BUY-IN
PRIZE: LE #102 x3, & 1 Bucket
-NO BFC’S The Battlefield Condition of Armor Wars is in play for all games and can not be cancelled.
-When damage dealt is reduced by any power or effect, increase the damage dealt by +1 after it is reduced by all other game effects!
February 19th & 22nd “MAJOR IS THE KEY”
400pts Golden Age $5 BUY-IN
PRIZE: LE #103 x3, & 1 Map x1
-Only MAJOR keyword teams allowed.
-At the beginning of each match you choose +1 to attack or defense for all of your characters!
February 26th & March 1st
“THE THREE COLOSSAL FIGURES AMONG US”
400pts Modern Age $5 BUY-IN
LE #104 x3, & 1 BUCKET AND LANTERN
- Each player brings a 400 pt army and will be paired/matched up with other players and playing against 3 different Colossal Figures!
- For each point of damage dealt that players character gains 1 Victory Point to be accumulated for each match and throughout the night!
- When a Colossal is defeated everyone who gained victory points in that match doubles up on their points.
March 5th & 8th “THE RETURN OF THE X-MEN!”
400 pts Golden Age $5 BUY-IN
PRIZE:LE #105 x3
-Marvel ONLY characters.
-Any Golden Age X-Men or The Brotherhood Keyword Character gains +2 attack, + 1 defense and damage values as a trait, any character can not expand beyond the rule of 3 for any stat on the dial!
March 12th “ON GOLDEN POND”
600 pts Golden Age $5 BUY-IN
- One character must be 250 points or over, and No Colossal allowed!
March 15th “GSX CRACK A BRICK NITE”
TONY’S KINGDOM HOUSE RULES: (HIGHLANDER RULES)
- Only one figure with the same name and dial allowed per team, excluding generics/minions. Players who can make a case for a continuity-thematic reason why two characters are on the same force will be considered (Kang Council, Multiple Man, etc.)
-The player with the most wins after three rounds wins the tournament.
-Victory points are used to determine a winner in the event of a tie. #If a winner still cannot be determined, the players roll two dice, high roll wins.
