View Full Version : Heroclix Best Quicksilver
Which Quicksilver has the strongest dial best and special powers. Give Set Name and Collector Number. Only wish they made one since 2007 in the same costume color scheme as the one from Armor Wars.

Can I hate all of them equally?

My personal fave is the vet from Armor Wars.
All of them are really glass jawed, however.
They're all either average (at best), or below.
The Green Costumed 49 point SR from the Avengers set is the best point for point

No version of him is particularly great. If I were to do a top 3...
#1: aw053 E Quicksilver
Team: Avengers
Range: 0 :bolt:
Points: 62
Keywords: Avengers, Inhumans, Mutant

- The price is right; I feel like I could give him "Not so Special" and "Armor Piercing" and not hate myself. A good "Avengers" Quicksilver and not a bad piece, it's just that his attack falls apart sooo fast.
#2: av025 R Quicksilver
Team: Ultimates
Range: 0 :bolt:
Points: 63
Keywords: Brotherhood of Mutants, Mutant, Ultimates

- He ignores hindering terrain, brings the Ultimates TA to your wildcards, and has a slightly more stable AV. That being said, he is slower than the AW Exp, has arguably worse keywords, and has much worse defense.
3rd: ic108 V Quicksilver
Team: No Affiliation
Range: 0 :bolt:
Points: 28
Keywords: Knights of Wundagore, X-Factor

- For 28 points this man is a heck of an assassin/tie-up piece. 14 move, 9 attack, 2 damage, flurry, and a 6-click dial that is hard to shoot at. Oh, and he has the hilarious "Knights of Wundagore" keyword.
Again though, all Quicksilvers share similar problems: awful damage (which is true of most speedsters not named Barry Allen) and miserable attack values that get worse after a click or two of damage.

I'm content with the current crop of Quicksilvers. Under new-Clix their once average values have shifted to below average a lot - but Quicksilver has historically done a lot less "power stunts" then DC's Flash.
Until a new one appears that is clever, I go with:
av025 R Quicksilver
Team: Ultimates
Range: 0 :bolt:
Points: 63
Keywords: Brotherhood of Mutants, Mutant, Ultimates
m-boota-fistd-shieldg-starburst1091621091529916210816210815287142KOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKO
I love his ability to ignore hindering allowing him to get Swingline for "free". He's a good harasser against really soft targets.
Second is likely:
av058 R Quicksilver
Team: Avengers
Range: 0 :bolt:
Points: 49
Keywords: Avengers, Brotherhood of Mutants, Mutant
m-boota-fistd-shieldg-starburst1091629816299172991628815287141KOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKOKO
(Speed) Supersonic Speed: Quicksilver may use Option 1 of Hypersonic Speed.
I like him due to his cost. So cheap. His mid-dial makes for a nice tie-up piece as well.
The AW versions don't offer much more than either of these two pieces. The Vet AW piece is a slight upgrade but the cost is too much for what he can do.

And that's why I don't think Quicksilver deserves a very good dial either. I expect him to be worth his points, but that's about it. He's kind of a punk.
