There is a possibility that I'll be moving to the Orlando/Tampa area in the somewhat near future and I was curious if there were any clixers in the area or a venue that supports tournaments and the like?

Thanks,
MistahJustice

Orlando / Tampa? That's 2 hours (if I-4 traffic is clear ie 3 am on Thursday). A pretty big area.

Good news: yes, there is a vibrant HeroClix community running from Tampa through Orlando and beyond.

Lakeland and Kissimmee are between the two major cities. North of Orlando has some, too.

Where and when is this happenstance, er, happening?

Possibly before next winter, but there is also the possibility of it taking a year to get the necessary preparations in order (money, residence, etc.). One of the things I was worried about was whether there was a clix community there or not haha. I said Orlando/Tampa because we're more than likely going to move to Orlando but might move to Tampa. What venues might you suggest?

For Tampa venues you should contact psycho69. He's the main man for west coast clix.

There is also a place in Leesburg that meets in a mall food court and Melbourne has a venue as well.

Lots and lots of options.

If you move to Orlando, check out my sig down below to see attendance, types of events, and teams that make an appearance. It will help you gauge the competition so you have an idea what kind of game we play.

Look forward to meeting you.
