What is your best Wolverine team?

I love Wolverine. He's just my favorite character of all time, but I can't think of the best way to use him in Heroclix. The Wolverines with the Xman team are way more expensive than Sabertooth. And Unique Elektra's sooo much cheaper. The best success I had was with the Unique Wolverine with the katana. Everybody loves veteran Logan but I can't seem to get him to work as well. I try to have a cheap flier to fly him around, of course. Any other hints?

Blogan can also be used to sneak up on key figures using Stealth to keep him safe from ranged attack.

Blogan should be kept fully healed and push into Flurry/Blades/Claws/Fangs when facing an enemy, or you won't have either for long, his defense is too low not to hit him at that point. Also, his Battle Fury will prevent Blogan from getting airlifted out to safety. Still, he's among the most dangerous figures in HeroClix up to this point. Hope this helps.

I made this army last night. I love using U Wolvie and V Logan together.

After pushing logan for 2 he's at top form with Flurry and B/F/C. Keep doing some beat down with all 3, if they start getting damaged, use the medics or the healing factors, and if you don't like a medic, regen or B/F/C rolls, use destiny to roll it again.

I can't use this to my advantage that much because he only gets half his movement when he comes out of stealth, so it's hard from me to get from bush to bush. Like you said, once I push to get him to his good clicks, he can't be flied by the fliers.

when using stealth figures to sneak up on people, it's a good idea to place your objects strategically and to be patient--no need to go rushing around when you can wait and move when it best suits you.

I've had a lot of success using stealth figures together, but it does take some getting used to if you're more of a charge/taxi into battle person.

Well you obviously have to work on his strengths like lets take V Wolvy

4 starting clicks of Stealth - first of all make sure you set up your items well. Make sure you can sort of walk from one end of the map to the other with 3 squares exactly between each hindering terrain. That way you'll always be hidden. You could also set up objects in doorways that way you can taxi him right up to the door and block it off.

B/C/F for his entire dial - which means you will be rolling more often then someone who doesn't, PC works awesome for this especially when you have logan and his Flurry + B/C/F, you'd be rolling a potential 6 dice on an single attack. Not to mention your rolling to regen as well. So lots of rolling + PC = good

Alright here's the game plan keep Jean Grey and Logan back out of the fight. Taxi Firelord and Bullseye around doing most of the damage from a good range, while this is going on push Logan till he is at Flurry. Once you have done a nice chunk of damage that's when you TK logan in to finish off 1 or 2 opponents. The next turn taxi Jean Grey in and TK logan up to another 1 or 2 weakened opponent and let loose again.

The best way to do this would probably when you run back to the medic with firelord. He won't even see it coming, because the moment they get back to your medic is when you TK logan in and the next turn you will send one of your flyers back in the fight with Jean Grey.

I tried out vet Logan yesterday in a 200 point match, and he kicked butt! My team was:

Vet Logan
Moondragon
Experienced Black Panther
Rookie Vulture
Vet AIM Medic

I used Moondragon to taxi him around at first, and I didn't worry about pushing him because his better clicks are later in the dial. Vulture and Black Panther followed them around closely to outwit any Invulnerability and Toughness.

The other guy had a Wasp-Firelord combo going, so I took control of Firelord first by surprising the other guy and taxiing moondragon with vulture, so I killed his wasp first. I love that! Meanwhile, I moved Logan around from bush to bush every other turn.

Couple turns later, Logan decimated a fully restored Firelord for 10 clicks with that Flurry/BCF combo. That thing automatically made him my favorite version of Wolverine ever. Ha!
