World's Finest Challenge Exit Poll

First, this poll is not the official ballot, but it is more of an exit poll to help get a feel of who is in the lead. All of the dials still in the contest are listed here:

After you have voted in the poll, if you could PM me an answer to this questionnaire (the more detailed your answer, the more it will count. If you do not answer the "why" portion, it will be thrown out):


OK, this is the only question that NEEDS to be answered:

Which set of dials/duo best represents the World's Finest, and why?

If you wish to take the time, I would love it if you could be more specific and answer these 5 questions:

1. Which set of dials (or duo dial) best represents Batman and Superman (or related figures) in comic accuracy, and why?

2. Which set of dials (or duo dial) are the most playable dials, and why?

3. Which set of dials (or duo dial) are the most creative, and why?

4. Which set of dials (or duo dial) best represent Batman and Superman (or related figures) working together with synergy, and why?

5. Which set of dials (or duo dial) are the weakest overall, and why?


Keep these things in mind when voting:


Do the figures work as a team without additional help?
Would Batman/Superman (or related figures) work just as well by themselves (this is a bad thing), or do they need each other to work well (this was the goal)?
Do these figures bring anything new to the game?
Designers were encouraged to think outside the box, making specific versions of the characters.
Designers were encouraged to make a WF of not Bruce and Clark (I think only 1 person took me up on this).
Designers were encouraged to build teams at various different point values, so do not only vote for 500+ point teams.


Please PM me the answers to the first 5 questions, keeping everything else in mind while voting. Be sure to title the "WFC Ballot" so I will be able to distinguish them easily. You have until 11:59pm EST on February 12th to get the ballots in. Thank you for helping out, and thank you for making this a fun community event. remember that prizes are on the line, so put careful thought into this. If I suspect anyone of cheating, they will be eliminated.

EDIT: Since the dials are not blind, it would be too easy for people to just vote for the realmser they like the best. This is why I have asked people to answer these 5 questions. I feel it will give more honest answers. It is just 5 simple questions and really won't take too long to answer. I have tried to make this post less confusing, but I can change it even more if that is an issue.

you are asking us to vote on the wf dials that people put out there or are you asking us to tell you by voting how we would vote if we were to vote on the wf dials. Its kind of one cocept to far

I am super excited to see this go well, and I know it will take some time to fill out the form. I have only received 2 so far, so I figured I would prime the pump a little.

Also, if there are 2 that are super close, feel free to say so (as long as you definitively choose one and explain why the second/third one was close).

yeah I have to say with all the questions, you may actually trun some people away from the voting. Also many will propbably vote without reading the entire post and miss the questions. A simple please post what you liked about the dial might have made more sense...

I, personally, like SensualNinja's dials. I find them a bit different, if a little extreme, than some of the options that I have seen out there. Keep in mind, I have only been playing since avengers. I felt that, as a snapshot of the two of them, in time, these two were very accurate.

2. Which set of dials (or duo dial) are the most playable dials, and why?
I'd still probably pick Slade's overall. They seem balanced without being overcosted and I like the traits as well as the 'castling manuver (sp. Brain dead) power.
3. Which set of dials (or duo dial) are the most creative, and why?
Chrisgo's attempt at an ACTUAL 500 point world's finest dial is really creative. I don't know that I would pay 500 for it, but man, I do like the ideas.

4. Which set of dials (or duo dial) best represent Batman and Superman (or related figures) working together with synergy, and why?
Again, Slade's.

5. Which set of dials (or duo dial) are the weakest overall, and why?
Mr. X's. They don't feel very synergistic to me. They look like two good individual dials that don't really synergize the way a 'World's Finest' should, I would think.
