I've heard good things from others about Gathering Ground too.. I chose All-star becaus ethey said theycn ship form the first wave. Gathering ground was like 2nd ro 3rd wave.

whats the difference between waves? Is it like pokemon cards, having 1st edition or something?

augiewan I put my vote in for gatheringground.com, best choice if ordering over the net that I know of... Of course I was gonna order from them then I conntactd my local comic stores and asked them what they would charge for a case. You should try this before ordering away, you might find a surprisingly good deal from your local dealer for ordering in bulk, I did. funny story, I have a case on order for a good price from one store for a very good price Canadian from my city, but I asked another seller, the very well known rip-off store of are city-who doesn't even sell heroclix anymore because he said sales are bad-he tried to charge me full price for forty eight boosters plus taxes. Canadian, tHAT Works out to $480+taxes. Un####ingbelievable! suffice to say the more up and up guy is giving me a much better price. I'd advise shopping around, but be very careful....

Yeah, I have a case on order from my local shop, but I didn't want to hog the first wave from the local guys I play with by ordering 2... I always prefer to support locally first. I just want MORE!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!!

For my second case, I'll go with the first place I can get a decent price and a first wave guarantee.

Oh, and for Corbet, the waves are all identical stuff, it's just that WizKids is staffed by people who love to torture it's customer base by releasing new product slowly in waves to create artificial demand for the product at first. I think it's the one pretty murky spot on the face of what I think is an over-all very consumer-friendly company. I really wish they would stop it.

I have ordered from gathering ground many times. I have always had great success. Of all the places that I have looked at they are always the cheapest. They are selling Xplosion at $199.99. That is really cheap, compared to pjcc.com who is selling them at $249.99.
