My First Tourney

I played my first tourney today and got second. I went 3 for 3 and lost the final to someone I beat in the pool.

I was playing Vision, V Hercules, Fury, V AIM Medic, R Doombot, V Shield Trooper, and V Cyclops. It was 400 pts., no mind control, all marvel.

I lost to E Ultron, R Invisible Girl, E Boomerang, V Doombot, R Black Panther, V Shield Medic, R Black Cat, and V Human Torch.

I played him first indoors and soundly beat him without losing anyone. In the finals he picked the marvel outdoor map and turtled around IG. I struck first and got Black Cat and Boomerang. Then he hurt Herc. I taxiied him back, but he followed and outwitted support. In the end, I lost by about 100 pts.

It was a great 4 games, everyone was really spirited, and I even got my first LE, Clay Quartermain.

I guess my question is, how could I have better played him?

How could you better play who? And, was it that you had alot of practice outside of tournies, or all of the guys you played really suck?:confused: (By the way, congrats!)

No everyone was pretty good. I get my practice from playing very frequently with my brother.

huh... i played my first tourney monday and got 2nd.i should have gotten 1st cause i had way more pts than first but he had a better record than me
its strange because i got clay quartermain too...hes a sweet fig

Without more info, it's hard to say what you could have done better...what strategy you used for example. By Marvel Outdoor map, do you mean the 4-corner one or the park?
