Disturbing Carnage thought

Just bought the Carnage arc of ASM (first appearance of Carnage and all) and it says that after venom reproduced, the symbiote took the venom symbiote's strength PLUS Brock's strength and added it to Kasady's. So, here's my question(s)--

When will Carnage/Venom reproduce again?

Is Spider-Man going to be totally ^$(%ed when Carnage reproduces, creating a symbiote that has Brocks strength, Kasady's strength, the original symbiote's strength, and adds it to another person's strength? Wait, that's not really a question, more of a statement.......

Fair warning: I'm not up on Spider-Man after about 1988 -- quit reading the comics around then -- but was able to keep up, more or less, by reading the comics belonging to mental patients at the institute where I worked.

...but I was under the impression that Casady's symbiote had been destroyed. Admittedly, Casady's blood had mutated, and therefore all he had to do was wound himself in order to access the Carnage powers... but the symbiote itself was history, and therefore would not be reproducing.

Venom did indeed reproduce, although not voluntarily. The Life Foundation kidnapped him and forcibly removed his last 5 symbiotic offspring. They were put on 5 volunteers and had different powers such as shooting bits of their costume like acid and such. They were all defeated by spidey and venom, and all ended up merging with one woman under the name of Hybrid. That's about where I lose track. I would assume she was/is pretty powerful, but probably not as much as venom.

hmm....I started collecting (more or less as a kid) right in the middle of the clone saga, and, pretty much because I had no idea what was going on, and thought this #### happened all the time, I quit as Reilly was taking over as Spider-Man....I started recollecting when the GG came back (most recently) in Peter Parker, and apparently I have a lot left to learn (though I have been researching :P)

ok, was the Symbiote thing in the Planet of the Symbiotes? cuz it sounds like it

Ive NEVER heard of Hybrid, so I assume she was destroyed? Also, more info on the Carnage thing if anyone knows, first time I heard about it.

As embarrassed as I am to admit it, I never read the planet of the symbiotes. I'm not sure what happened to Hybrid. I do believe that the carnage symbiote is destroyed, but cassady can access the powers thru his blood.
