For some reason, a few days ago, threads stopped being marked as "read" for me after viewing. They now only change status to "read" if I go double-click on the icon to manually mark them as such.

That happened to me once. It cleared up when I logged off and then logged back on.

That would be my guess for a solution.. something wrong with the cookie or something perhaps?

I tried to replicate it and couldn't so it must be an end user type thing vs. global.
