Using v.7 and already read most of the Dummies book.
I download Drashshia's grid, but for some reason when I now open the file the grid lines look blue instead of black. I switched between cMYK and RGB adn no difference. Can anyone help?
Sure, first off it's Drashia ;) hehe
With the grid layer selected, use the Image - Adjust - Contast and reduce the brightness to -100, and there you go... black

Sorry about the typo
Having trouble selecting just the grid? I feel stupid because I tried eevrything I could think of.
In you layer palette (view --> show layers), select the layer which has the grid on it then do the contrast thing

Got it! Actually I had changed the grid color while running an example from the Dummies book. I forgot Photshop saves the changes in general, not just to the documents.
Thanks for the help though Drashia!:)
