Starting sign ups for the first installment of Multiverse Mafia. I've always been a pretty big fan of the different versions of characters from the Multiverse. This game will be kinda different in that, when it all boils down to it, you're all the same character. Granted some of you may be dinosaurs or werewolves or vampires or even ordinary people with no super powers, but everyone will be a version of Superman. I have roles for 16 - 20 people and will likely start once the FTBC ends in a few weeks.

I think we definately will. I came across several cool versions of Batman while doing research for this game. :)

Can I just say that this is going to be an awesome game?

I would sign up, and I dearly wish I could. However, I helped review this game, so can give the Malakim Seal of Approval.

So I sat down today and started doing research for Batman. There are some awesome characters for him that I never knew existed. A few weeks ago I downloaded all the Elseworlds books so I'll be going through them in the next little bit while I research roles for it.

And bump because everyone wants to be Superman. :)

That would be awesome. The earlier it would start will be in about 2 to 2 and a half weeks, once the FTBC ends.

Fat Superman still needs 10 more players to get started. The FTBC just ended so I can begin the game once we get enough players. I can edit it down to 16 but I'd prefer 18 or 20.

Ya, he declared on Ogreland that he officially quits Mafia. he may stick around for you, but he did pull out of Doofus Dinner which is pretty anti-(normal)-mafia.

I think I may actually do a sequel to Heralds of Galactus. People seemed to like the Big G better than 20 Supermen running around. Personally I'm a huge Multiverse fan so I would love to run this. However, since sign-ups have been slow, I'm fine with switching to a theme people seem to like and I enjoyed running. I won't close sign-ups, just in case people do decide they'd want to play this, but it may be one of those games that never really gets off the ground.

I hear you. With it taking so long to find 4 players, I'm thinking about just moving to Legend of Zelda... What happened to all the players?

Jerry, can you please remove me from the sign ups.

I'm quitting mafia because I have a hard time keeping up with the game. It's taken very seriously by some people and to be able to compete I need more time to pay attention to what's going on. I may try another game or two in the future, but at this point, it's not possible.
