View Full Version : How can they justify these ATK values?

I'm fairly new to the game, and can't believe how low some DC characters attacks are in comparison to Marvel. How can Superman be an 11 ATK at best? How can 75 other guys have the same, or higher attack power?
Fact: Out of the 29 clix with attack greater than 11, only 3 are DC, and they are all Hawk.
Fact: Of the 33 clix with damage greater than 3, ALL are Marvel.
Can someone please explain these things to me? They say that the games are compatible, but how can they be when marvel seems to be weighted a lot heavier?

whats to explain... they just made things different
yes they made dc "weaker" in some ways and who knows that may change by the next expansion
ontop of that i think that they made some of the marvel guys too powerful other than dc guys too weak
i guess its a half empty or half full type thing

In Marvel's original set, they stressed high statistical values but were more relaxed with superpowers, whereas DC generally had lower numbers for the 5 combat values but tried to stack figures with more superpowers. Marvel has been shifting towards DC's way of things in the two recent expansions, using something of a middle ground, but we can't yet tell what DC's next set will have.

Marvel is completely overstatified. Par example...Crimson Dynamo will have 5 clicks of damage compared to Supes 3. This does not work out at all.
Yep. Something's not right in DC land when rookie supes can't even punch through a wall. :( Although, I do love the mix of DCs powers!

And yet Bane does 5 damage in HtH. Think its just DC thats goofed up.
