View Full Version : Any clix in Evanston/N.Chicago/FT Sheridan area?

Work requires me to be at Ft Sheridan, IL (just north of Chicago) for 2 weeks starting this Sunday until the 12th of March or so.
Would love to catch a game or two while I am down there, so can anyone fill me in on tournies or even public free play anywhere within the area?

Please reply on here or PM, so I know to bring some travel clix stuff with me :)

If you're willing to cross the Cheddar Curtain into Kenosha, we have tournament play on Monday nights and "free play" on Friday nights at Rockheads. Link's in my signature.

Just announced: There's also Clix gaming on Thursdays at Board Game Barrister in Gurnee Mills.

Yep, got my orders and travel arrangements, so will be there. So far have heard from Gurnee Mills, Kenosha, and Elgin.
It'll be a nice break from Army work for awhile!

Okay, headed to O'Hare in a few hours, will be in area until Friday the 11th, possibly Sat the 12th!

Let me know if there are other venues you tourny play at or just meet up at and play a fun game. It'd suck to pack this slick little travel box o' clix and not use them!

Okay, after catching up on some sleep and reading some emails, here is a list of reasonable clix venues for possible play in the next couple weeks (distance and time reasonable that, I have no idea if the people are reasonable):

M- Rockhead's, Kenosha, WI at 5:30

Tu- Graham Cracker Comics, Naperville, IL 6pm

Wed- Modern Age Comics, Elgin, IL 7 pm

Th- Board Game Barrister, Gurnee, IL at 5:50

Fr- Got Comics, INC, in Glendale Hts at 7 pm

Sat- Dark Tower Comics on N Western Ave, Chicago, 2 pm

Su- none so far.

Any other suggestions or advice? I am hoping to get at least a game or two per week :)
