Mystic Team ability and Mastermind

i got a question about the Mystic Ability..

Say i shoot a character with the mystic ability with. Joker can i use the mastermind ability to transfer the damage that joker will receive to another character with toughness and have him absorb the damage?.

any input?

(Optional) When this character is the target of a successful attack (either close or ranged combat), all the damage it would normally receive from the attack can be inflicted instead on any friendly character with a lower point value in an adjacent square. Mystic Team Ability
· The Mystic team ability is not an attack, and therefore will not trigger if the Mystic team ability is used on another Mystic team member.


The Mystic team ability is not considered an attack. Therefore, you cannot Mastermind the Mystic damage.
