I am new to this game. I was wondering about force blast. I know that it is not an attack but it automatically effect an adjacent character of your choice or do you have to make a breakaway roll for the person to be knocked back. A power that automatically works seems pretty powerful if it slams them into a wall or knocks them off a building. Thanks.

It is automatic. No roll is ever needed, just to be adjacent. It can be powerful when it knocks you off a building, but if a character is in the middle of a large clearing, it might not do anything at all effective.

Nice thing is, you can Perplex up the damage of the figure with Force Blast. Then when they use FB, they can knock the opposing figure further back, like into a wall or off a building.

Or, you could combo Barrier with Force Blast, throw up a wall behind the guy and blast him into it.

Do targets with Super Senses and Impervious get to roll to avoid the Force Blast?

Since Force Blast is not considered an attack (I.E. you don't make an attack roll)..... Super Senses and Impervious will not activate (you will not get to roll to 'dodge')

As an added bonus, don't forget that Impervious doesn't protect from damage due to knock back either, so Impervious characters are really at the mercy of Force Blast'ers.

Oh, I never thought of that! That is even more evil than just pushing snipers off of rooftops! Now I just need to find a good Barrier figure to team up with my Blue Beetle!
