Okay, the new FAQ has left a gray area which needs clearing up.

Can a figure with superstrenght pick up an object when he moves adjacent to an opposing figure. The new FAQ spacifically sez that they can't during a charge action, but can the object be picked up if it's done, not during a charge action? Or is the logic that prevents it from being picked up during a charge action also applicable during a move action?

Here's the wording from the most recent FAQ under Charge:

<<A charging character with Super Strength cannot pick up an object as he/she comes into a square adjacent to an opposing character.>>

This is presumably, because the movement portion of his turn is over immediately upon his entering the square. So would this also then apply to a non-charge move in which the super strength figures moves to a square adjacent to an opposing figure and wants to then pick up an item?

See if this works:

A figure with Super Strength can pick up an object during their Charge, and use it during their attack. Exceptions are when an opposing figure is located in the same square as the object intended to be picked up.
*Example: A figure with Super Strength & Charge moving towards and entering a square that is adjacent to both the opposing figure and the object being picked up must immediately end the movement part of their action when adjacent to the opposing figure. The Super Strength figure cannot pick up the object, but he can make a normal close combat attack (as no Line of Fire is needed).
*Example: A figure with Super Strength & Charge starting their turn in a square adjacent to both the opposing figure and the object being picked up must roll breakaway when attempting the Charge. If the breakaway roll is successful, they can pick up the object and attack the opposing figure. If the breakaway fails, the figure’s turn immediately ends – he will not be able to attack.

The only time that a figure can pick up the object during his move action and NOT be stopped be the opposing figure is if that figure has Leap/Climb, Phasing or Hypersonic Speed.

As an interested party, I thought I'd make a lil' map to help clarify the situation.

Original positions:

H X X
X X E
X W O

H= Mr. Hyde
X = Empty Space
W= Wolverine
E = Elevated Terrain
O = Object

Hyde moves as follows:

X X X
X H E
X W O

The question is, I believe, can Hyde pick up the object, or did his move end when he based Wolverine?

The exact same thing would apply, charge or no charge now since the change to the faq. As soon as a figure comes into B2B contact with another figure, his move is immediately over. Also, if you are B2B (charge or not) and you wanted to pick up an object, it requires a breakaway roll, as picking up an object is a movement. It isn't mentioned in the faq but has surfaced here and on the heroclix forums.
And again, even as the illustration indictates, as soon as Hyde enters adjacent to Wolvie, his turn is over, charge or no charge (although Hyde has no charge anyways).
Next turn, if Hyde wanted the weapon, he would
1)have to push
2)roll breakaway to even pick that 'O' object up.
