Vet batman vs/ Promo batman ??

Veteran batman and the Promo Batman both have the same stats ?

any physical differences ?

The Promo has a 13 attack value and the Vet has a paltry 9

The Promo only has 3 damage for one or two clicks and then keeps 2 damage

The promo is more points

The Promo is a Batman Ally, the Vet is JLA.

While I have no love for V Batman (trading Outwit for Leadership...what was he THINKING? :rolleyes:), for the money he's better than P Batman. P Batman's primary edge is twofold. First, he has the Batman Ally ability. Second, he's got an amazing attack value of 13. In all other respects, he's the worst of all the Batmen. Many of the powers that make Batman so great either drop very swiftly from him or don't appear at all. He has only two clicks of Incapacitate, a mere three clicks of Leap/Climb (he's slow, too; starting movement is 8), and a paltry two clicks of Outwit at the end. His high ATK drops like a stone, too, at a point per click; at the end of his dial, he's got a mere 7

What *does* he have? Willpower (6 clicks out of 8), and Leadership (again, 6 out of 8).

If you're going to use one of the two, I'd pick V Batman. The free movement and Leadership are rather extraneous, but he's useful throughout his entire dial, with Willpower on every click, steadier stats, and useful clicks all the way down the dial. If only he was a Batman Ally...*sigh*
