I didn't want to gunk up the Polls/Surveys forum with failed attempts, so I guess I'll toss a question in here:
I've posted Polls before, and was going to do one last week, but didn't see an option to post a poll with the thread.
I'm seeing other people posting polls with options, so I just wanted to see if there was something I was missing or something new that's been implemented that I'd have to take care of.
Below the "Submit New Thread" button where the Additional Options, I just see the same 3 options: Show your signature, Automatically parse links in text, and Disable smilies in text.

Is there anything I need to know? Any help is greatly appreciated :)

Creating poles is limited to people who have donated, possibly to donations of a certain level, I'm not sure about that, but since I can do it and I'm cheap... broke, one of those, it can't be too high a level. : - )

So, you won't get the option to create a poll until you pony up the dough.

I thought that might be a possibility, but if that's the case, it's pretty recent. I've made a few polls before, but I've never donated :speechles

If that is that's going on now, that's fine and dandy, I've been meaning to cough up for a while now. I just think that the HOW-TO: Submit a Poll thread should be updated to reflect that.

Yes, it changed just in the time period that I've been here, I think to cut down on the number of "Who's better for 9061.37 points?" polls.

Actually it was always intended to be a silver donor perk, however something was set wrong allowing anyone on the forums to post.

The perks for Silver Donor are:
Bronze Donor +
Can Create Polls
Custom Avatar: Animated
Album: 200 / 10MB (+100 Images / +5MB)
Signature Upgrade

I may have to upgrade my signature another level. The links to my Evidence threads take up a LOT of the character limit, and I'd hate to lose my quote.

I hate how the link actually counts as part of the sig.. :(
Time to make some tiny URLs or something..

Couldn't tell you. Could be tomorrow could be months from now.. Not my decision to make. :)
