V Doc Ock
V SHIELD Trooper
2 R Doombots

Five figures. Nightmare is good for close combat and enhancing ranged attacks and EE. The Doombots double as taxis and SHIELD Agents. Doc Ock can perplex attack rolls and non EE damage or attack stats. Can't wait to try it out!

That team looks quite nasty.

I like Nightmare, his AV is great, and it never drops below 10, even on his last click.

Ock is something else too, WIllpower and Leap climb basically free him of needing a taxi to get into attack range or perplex range.

I found Doc ock pretty nasty against my beloved Sentinels, he's hard to pin down. Team him up with Thanos and see how close opposing fgures are willing to come. And Nightmare is just my favorite unique all the way around.

Hey looks pretty good there Shin. The Doombots taxiing is defiantly what you need for that team. Still your biggest problem will be is nightmare gets hit first. You really dont have no heavy hitters unless you use the shield ability a lot.

Here is my new army once Xplosion comes out. That I would like to test out.

No heavy hitters? Have you seen Nightmare's Damage? :)

Nightmare consistantly hits for 3 to 2 clix of damage, and almost never misses. In two rounds he can push to do 6 clix of damage, 8 if Perplexed. The SHIELD Trooper can get his Energy Explosion Enhanced and Increased by the SHIELD ability. On a good placement, he'll have a 10 attack and 4 Damage with Energy Explosion, 5 without. I would say the team's biggest problem is mobility.

Knightmare (I like k for some odd reason) only does 3 damage, without perplex. He can be easily shut down with some well placed hits. Its a fun team but it wouldn't last very long. I noticed you like DOc Ock also. You use him as much as I seem to use him. Why didnt you take a sniper instead of a trooper. Has better range?

You can't perplex the Sniper while RCE is in effect, thereby limiting her usefulness. The Trooper has EE, which can be Enhanced by Nightmare, boosted by the Doombots, and his attack value can be Perplexed OR without EE the Damage can be Perplexed. Nightmare is tougher than you give him credit for. He can hit 95% of everything on the board once he's based, then the Doombot behind him can have his EE Enhanced without worrying about the splash damage affecting him.

Nightmare keeps Invulnerability for a good while, three clix. He does 3 damage for 5 clix, and never goes below 2. Very few figures can boast that. His attack value never drops below 10.

Let's say you base him next to a V Firelord. In one swipe, he takes Firelord to a 10 attack value and only has to roll 4 or better to do so! That's without Perplex. Then Firelord has to roll 8 or better just to hit Nightmare, who will soak 2 of 5 clix of damage if he hits. HFL's defense is reduced to 13, which the Doombot has a very good chance of hitting on the next round. Next round comes up, Nightmare pushes hits for 3 damage [even if the RCE got him]. The Doombot can hit a 10 defense even on a bad day if he pushes. You can add one clix of damage to each of the previous rounds if Doc Ock is within range, and Firelord can't do anything but run. If you made good placment, FL's taxi can't move without breakaway either.

Now, that example is based on one of the more powerful figures in the game. Imagine how he'll do up against other clix. I am not saying Nightmare is invincible, far from that. But if you are willing to pay the points and take a risk, you'll be ahead of the game.

Play him in a mixed DC/Marvel game. Nightmare is hard to beat, especially due DC's lower Defenses. Pairing him with a Vet Nightwing, Desaad, and Medic allowed me to dominate. Add in Destiny, a Con Artist, etc. and really create havoc.

Once they come out, Destiny and Con Artist will be prime players for Nightmare's army. I should work on a 400 poin variation of my team as well.

For those who like themed teams, Nightmare can team with anyone [except Dr. Strange] to field a force since they could all be seen as creations of his Dreaming or mind controlled heroes and villians.

Finally someone who is willing to spend the points on one of the big fellas. it looks like a fun team. almost as fun as my Kang, doombot and shield team. let us know how it goes Shin and let the dark hadou be with you.

This team could very easily be switched out for a Kang, although Doc Ock's Perplex would probably be used on himself. MESSATSU!!

As I have proven. "My Will be Done" has triumphed over the Weak abilities of Nightmare's Team. I traveled to his dimension with other villians in tow. Green Goblin and Doc Ock traveled as a team and smacked the Everliving Carp out of the being known as Nightmare, SuperSkrull took first blood as he was perplexed up and melted 2 of the Illusion of Doc Ock's arms together. Nightmare tried to take the Offensive but with Super Skrull and the combined efforts of Doc Ock and Green Goblin. He disappeared in a poof of smoke. Screaming at the top of his lungs for revenge. With him gone his other illusions disappeared rather quickly. Without the masters power they were helpless.

Needless to say Green Goblin is a monster with perplex and Flight and Willpower. Doc Ock was taxied around and got perplexed by Himself and Green Goblin. 11 attack and 4 damage is great. Scorpion became a nuisance in the side of smaller fighters. Leap and climb and toughness on a 20 odd point character is great. And of course Super Skrull took the blunt of all the attacks which he was able to handle.

All in all a great game cant wait for Shin to get a new and improved force to fight me.
