Can the damage from a non-damaging ranged strike (Neutralisation, Mind Control etc.) be augmented by S.H.I.E.L.D or Enhancement ?

And BTW, S.H.I.E.L.D can boost even RCE, right ?

Thanks

It depends on the wording of the power...

Incapacitiate does 0 damage... this damage can be augmented by Enhancement and SHIELD

Mind Control does no damage... this damage can only be augmented if you roll a Critical Success (roll a 12) on you attack roll. Upon which this power will do 1 damage + Enhancement/SHIELD

SHIELD can be used to boost RCE.

SHIELD can be used to boost RCE.

But you have to announce the SHIELD part BEFORE you shoot, so I guess the 12 roll doesn't allow for that hypothesis, only Enhancement does...

Too bad, I would have LOVED to MC with damage... ;-)

Well, there's still NEutral left !!

And Enhancement can be used for as many shooters as are in contact with enhancers, right ?

Alrighty...

Enhancement and SHIELD are declared after an attack declaration, but before the dice are rolled.

So you'd say something like.... I'm going to attack with Ultron and have SHIELD add to damage or Enhancement add to damage

For MC, both SHIELD and Enhancement will give a boost only when you roll a 12. (Total damage given will be 2 - 1 for crititcal success and 1 for boost)

So with incapacitate will enhancement increase damage by one even if you do not roll a critical success?

Yes, Incapacitate will do damage if Enhanced even without the critical hit. This is because Incapacitate does: 0 + 1(Enh) damage.
If you make that Critical Hit, it becomes: 0 + 1(Enh) +1(Crit) = 2
And of course, if you end up pushing the figure: 0 + 1(Enh) +1(Crit) +1(Push) = 3.
