I'm curious to find out what is the most $ spent on one HeroClix figure?

Personally, I've spent $20 on Nightcrawler Unique at the local comic shop.

I spent $35 on the LE Annihilus. Personally, I think I got a heck of a deal. Other than that, usually no more than $15 for a U or LE.

Yeah, when I saw Nightcrawler was $20, I jumped at it. I thought I would have to trade the winnings from my next three tounaments to someone to get it.

I accidentally was tricked into paying 38 dollars for Darkseid on Ebay. I was screwed but it wasn't ENTIRELY my fault. Other than that I'd have to say (not counting shipping) usually no more than 15.50 for any Unique. However I am thinking of raising my asking price to 20 for Nightcrawler. However I am going to give it a few months until X-plosion is released before I make any drastic decisions. The only reason I want crawler anyway is to complete my set... I'll find a good deal on him sooner or later. FYI I have gotten the following Uniques for 5 dollars

right when CT came out i bought 4 boosters. My gf wanted teh different logos on the boosters so we swaped one booster out for another. i opened my boosters..no uniques but did get a vet doom and vet thor. i thought it would be funny to see what i would have gotten if i didn't swap out the 4th booster so the shop guy went ahead and opened the booster i put back and out cam a nightcrawler. now at this time nobody had any idea which uniques were worth what, so i offered the guy $5.00 for the unique. He said yes. he though it would have been another "unique juggernaut or unique cyclops"

Most I ever made was $45 from a unique Nightcrawler.... twice! Two times I've had people use the "Buy it Now" for $45. Ah Ebay... I love you too! :D I've had more Nightcrawler's than Kurt Wagner's got fingers and toes!

That'll work out to about fifteen boosters of Xplosion, which I'd rather have than two figures. :)

A local place has a "spend $x on boosters/starters, get that much in singles credit" ongoing deal, so by those standards, I either paid $32.50 for Thanos or I got him for free.....

After that, though, I think the most I paid was about $17 for Vision, though there's a bunch in that range.

I see a lot of people bragging about how much money they saved getting X unique or Y LE. But really haven't we all spent more on boosters than we should have. Couldn't you have bought the figures you wanted straight out and possibly saved some dollars rather than having thirty rookie Rogues you can't trade?

As of today, £10 for Mojo. I figure it was easier than buying two packs for the same amount and getting more R Hawkeyes. I'm not really a fan of buying Heroclix figs at big prices but I can just about fork out £10. I do not find any of the LEs to be significantly game altering to warrant their ridiculous ebay prices, even Doc Doom.

I agree with Weasel 1000%. I am strongly considering not bothering with an Xplosion case this time, especially if the boxes really are tamper proof now. I'll buy them in a set amount at a time, dump off the ####, then get some more, and buy the figs I never seem to get.

Well, lets see, I could answer this one of two ways........so I'll answer them both!

The most I paid for one figure was $100.00 BIN on E-bay for the X-plosion Hulk U! Now, before you guys start ripping me apart.....I was doing it on behalf of someone else. Of course, by now, most of should know this.



Me personally, I paid $95.00 for Victor Creed. I finally had the money, so I threw caution to the wind. Doubt very much I'll ever do that again. The more days that pass, without him arriving in the mail, the more things I think about, that I could've put that money to use for. Luckily HC cases isn't one of those.

I don't see myself paying any more than $35 for any figure that is still pretty available at or near original price.

U Flash was the most expensive for me.

I've really only bought The two big deluxe starter boxes and two regular starter boxes - beyond that I bought about three large lots of thirty on ebay and one lot here, and traded from there to get my total of about 450 clix.

most I spent on a single figure was 19.87 for a U mr. fixit (which I just traded for a U vision, there was a good waste of money) I personally don't both with boosters anymore. If I need some clix its just cheaper to go to ebay then to keep buying boosters until I find what I'm looking for. Theres only a few Xplosion figs I'm looking forward to, but I bought 12 boosters for trading instead of actually hoping I'll get what I want.

To me 3 € (about 3 $) is the maximum for a figure. I'm not a real addict (and collector) to pay more for a single miniature.

This way, I don't have so much U ... :( Except the ones from boosters and for an U Flash that I've got for only 2 $ on Ebay (France)! ;)

And I can't find someone in my place who wants to exchange one of my two U spiderman ! Quite frustrating !

$51 for Ant Man and Yellow Jacket. I had the PayPal money from selling off some Simpson action figures and really liked the idea of these uniques that were new. They're fun to have.

$77 for Ted Kord LE.

Now this wasn't a direct exchange of cash for fig (that would've been stupid, since he was going for around $40 on ebay at the time), but that's what I spent in gas money and boosters/starters during the DC marquee weekend chasing after Ted.

I went to 5 marquee tournaments that weekend. The first one on Fri night was single elimination, which pissed me off to no end. Had I known that before hand, there was another one I could've gone to. (And the guy's reason for running it that way made no sense at all. He had somewhere he needed to be, so he said that would be faster, but 3 rounds is 3 rounds - it would've taken exactly the same amount of time. Besides, if he didn't have the time, he shouldn't have scheduled it for then. He also claimed that 8 people wouldn't work for the swiss format, which was nonsense. I figured out later that it works perfectly! That store has since had their sanctioning pulled by wizkids [for something completely unrelated, so far as I know], which is both good and bad. It satisfies my thirst for vengeance, but it gives me one less place to play.) Sure enough, I had a bad first round and went home early. I did pull a unique from each booster though, so it was pretty much a wash.

The one I went to Sat at noon I won, so I should have stopped right there, taken 40 bucks and bought Ted on ebay. But I didn't. I went to another one that night and 2 on Sun. (Those 3 are where the $77 comes in.) I nearly came away empty-handed from all 3 , but at the very last one, I got lucky and got the fellowship award. Now, one can argue that I got $50+ dollars worth of product and that Ted was free, but out of all that product, I got no uniques and maybe like 3 nons that I needed. So to my way of thinking (I'm a massive cheapskate), I got a $77 Ted Kord. And a good story. (Ok, maybe not that good.)

I saw another thread asking what the crown jewel of your collection was, and had I ever gotten around to posting there, my answer would have been my $77 Ted Kord. I'm not parting with him for anything! (Ok, maybe a Banner or Creed;) )

Where I'm at, the dealer is extremely fair on prices (to the point that now, he refuses to carry Yu-Gi-Oh because he feels that Upper Deck is using unethical means to inflate the price of boosters). As such, he charges only $15 for a unique, no matter what the unique. I ended up getting a Darkseid from him for that price.
