ok, so i saw taskmaster...

and i fell in love.

seriously. he's got the stealth and bcf, my all-time favorite combo

plus, when he loses bcf, he gets incapacitate. people hate incapacitate, but when he only has one damage at that point, its a beautiful thing. anyway... i also love vet mandarin.... that said, here's how it goes down.

THE PLAN:

First turn, (if the other team isnt on a roof or something,) mandarin is flown up by wasp. taskmaster is flown, and harley is either moved so she can perplex, or positioned where she can perplex from her starting area.

at any rate, mandarin gets double perplexed, either to his attack or to his damage... (and if i really wanna tick off some people.. his range, so i can pretty much shoot from my side of the board.) mandarin will either mind control or blast some poor unsuspecting fool to smithereens, and then wait until someone is forced to come near him, at which point the stealthed taskmaster slices and dices and makes a mess of things...


what do you all think? i kinda like it

Well, the only problem I see with that is that I'm fairly certain that Range can't be perplexed.

Range can be Perplexed as it is a printed value on the combat dial.

Cool team. My suggestion would be to switch out Harley Quinn for a Vet. Con Artist and then upgrade your E Wasp to U Wasp. This give you a better defense (both Wasp and Mandarin will have 19 defense against range, wow) and (IMHO) makes your team less cheesey because you are not mixing sets.

Another one could be to switch Harley out for a Vet Con Artist and a Rookie Con Artist! That's double the perplex for the same point cost. ;)

Well here is my team I call it "My Will be Done." Its very deadly with Doc Ock and Green Goblin Willpower, Perplex and Super Strength. Scorpion is there to take out the supports Leap/Klimb and Toughness for 20 odd points. Super Skrull is jsut the man. And of course Vulture's taxi service. All this for 299 points.

my problem with the con artists is the push....

i want to be able to perplex mandarin to full, butt whomping power on pretty much my first turn, so thats why i picked harley quinn over the con artist.


im not really worrying about team mixing cheesiness. im all for integration. besides, its just a game... (please dont start the flames. please!)
