new forum for online gaming?

just wondering what people thought about creating a new forum for people to post online gaming threads. right now, the general discussion forum is chock full of them, and it seems to me to be a logical way to separate discussions about strategies & characters from pleas for games. this would also make it easy for people to find a game if they're looking for one. thoughts? feedback?

p.s. - thanks to whoever for hcrealms.com - i spend many hours each day on the boards & have found them invaluable. i don't suggest this idea as a criticism, but as a refinement to an excellent website.

I think it's a great idea! As long as it still shows up on the front page, so everyone can read the great writing that some of us put into our matches.

Have to agree it would be really nice to have its own section and show up on the home page. Like all the other pages.

Not a bad idea and something we can look into.

A note though, the general forum will be regularly cleaned of these threads, we can't let the forum get overrun with this stuff.

glad to hear it. when i checked this afternoon, 7 of the 40 threads on the 1st page of the general discussion forum involve parties in an online game. that's almost 20% of the topics, and i'd say it warrants its own home. i don't have anything against it at all, but it's frustrating to sift through threads like that while looking for discussion topics.
