Hmm... my status still reads as "Gold", yet yours now reads as "Silver" AND "Gold".
I can't wait to be rid of the gold bar, so I can stop darting back and forth from here and my work screen to see if it's been changed back.

I decided to merge the two donor levels into one. Silver level is enough for my needs, and by merging your re-donation of Knighty's Gold donation into my Silver level it's now paid up through April 2013. Thanks to you both.

Burl Ives? But I always thought you looked like Yukon Corleone, the North Pole's greatest hit-man.

Well, that worked out well then, now didn't it?
You could've tried for diamond or whatever's next after Gold.

Why's everyone going for "gold" in the name? I wasn't hinting. It's not even my question to hint at.
That said, I still think "Red" is in the name. I just can't think of anything besides Red Arrow and Red Bow that has to do with archery, and I'm sure he was a Green Arrow villian to begin with. And it's not the Rainbow archer or Red Archer. Red Target doesn't sound right. Red Bullseye sounds awful.
I'm still sure it had/has something to do with archery.
Ok I'll bite and try Red Quiver.

Great, CuCr gets bit by Norb.
On the night of the next full moon, CuCr will find himself transformed into a half man - half Norb creature. He'll be a "Were-Norb". :noid:
Kinda wonder what CuCr's wife will say to that one.
I can see Brad Pitt playing CuCr in the movie of his life as the Were-Norb.
And George Clooney as Norb.
With Denzel Washington as Wyld and Tom Hanks as Knightwraithe.
With Miley Cyrus as Mrs Knightwraithe.
Also starring (as CuCr's wife) Michelle Pfeiffer.
(Kinda wonder what CuCr's wife will say to that one, too).

With the mention of Burl Ives, I'd be tempted to go with "The Red Nose". Or "The Reindeer". Something like that. But that's also because of an episode of Robot Chicken that has a scene of Green Arrow shooting a deer with a boxing glove arrow, but then realizing he still had to kill it, so uses a rock for just that purpose.

Weird side effect is the number of postings I supposedly made. I just noticed the differance. I had just over 16,000 posts before I ditched the donor stats the other day, now it says I've made over 18,000 posts.
How did I make 2,000 posts in so short a time?
Something got screwed up. Not that I mind, really, but it's freaky to look at knowing there's that big a differance.

He sics Krypto on SBP
Hmm, that was easy. I don't read enough obscure comics.
Your turn.

Saving Barbara Gordon from being crippled.

Something Kirkman, wasn't it?
Edit: No. No it wasn't.

Kirk DePaul
I had to dig up my old Power Company comics to find that one.

I'm sure you meant to say "composed of," Custom. "Comprise" is generally used in the active voice.
And after nitpicking your grammar, I'll guess Scarecrow.

I'll say Penguin. Something abotu a Sekowski Penguin seems familiar.

Penguin did show up in a couple of Sekowsky's JLA issues, but this story neither featured Penguin nor was drawn by Sekowsky.

Poison Ivy, then.

No, but keep throwing out Bat-villains; one of them's bound to stick.
Ignatz_Mouse
12/03/2009, 10:53
Well, I had a rationale for both my guesses. The first was based on visual memory, and the second was a guess that if it wasn't Sekowski it was significantly later than I had initially thought-- Poison Ivy showed up in JLA later and was also a fairly common Bat-villain for writers of other books to use (probably because she was a third-stringer not likely to be tied up by any upcoming plots).
But if I am just guessing, I'll say Mr Freeze.

Clayface?

I could get picky and ask which one, but let's end this already! It was indeed Clayface (Matt Hagen), who represented Gotham City's underworld in Queen Bee's group of super-villains (Action Comics #443).
Take it away, Cha!
Wow, didn't expect to get it right, I just played off your "stick[y]" comment. Um, I don't have a lot of DC comics to draw from but here goes:
What is the name of the only innocent killed when Batman first encounters the villian also known as Tommy?
PS - The person killed is MOSTLY innocent.

Harold Allnut.
Correct. Harold Allnut, the only innocent (he planted a subliminal image circuit in the batcomputer, hence mostly innocent) killed during Batman's first encounter with Hush, aka Tommy Elliot. Shot in the head and heart by Hush himself (although that's open to interpretation).
