I was just rereading the section on flying/carrying in the FAQ and was left with this question:

If figures are arranged as below, does the ~carried~ figure need to role a breakaway if it's the flyer that's making the move action to grab them and leave?

E=enemy
F=friendly
H=hoverer

To put it more plainly, can the hoverer just grab the friendly and go, or does a breakaway role need to be made?

The hoverer can just grab and go. No breakaway needed for the friendly.

Because it is only the Hovering Character that is making a movement action, there is no break-away required for the situation you describe.

If an opponent were adjacent to the Hovering Character, the Hoverer would need to roll for break-away per standard rules. Once that break-away was made, the flier could carry someone with it, without need of a second roll.

Funky is correct.....

It's just too bad he's an Oklahoman... :(

EDITED: Captain Bob is too.....

Correct, that is. I would never call him an Oklahoman.
