Got a couple of clarification questions, naturally. We seem to bump up against these a lot;

Can a character on elevated terrain atttack a soaring figure?

How about...

How do you attack a character with stealth? Is the square the stealthed figure is standing in considered hindering terrain just because they are standing there?

One more fellas! I appriciate the wealth of information on this site!

If a character outwits a power and the target loses that ability in a successful attack, is the resulting ability outwitted too? i.e. Invunerability goes to toughness. Or is the turn over?

I think characters on elevated terrain can shoot at soaring figures, just at half range.

Basically to attack a character with Stealth, you have to be b2b with them if they are in hindering terrain. If they are standing out in the open, and you can draw a LOF without crossing through any hindering or blocking terrain, then you can you hit them just like a normal character.

Outwit only outwits a power that is currently on the dial. So if you outwit Supermans Imperviousness and knock him down to Toughness, he can still use toughness.

1. Any grounded character (including those on elevated terrain and hovering characters) may make a ranged attack on soaring characters at half range.

2. If the stealthed character is standing in clear terrain, he gets no special defensive considerations. However, if he is in hindering terrain or behind hindering terrain, the hindering terrain is counted as blocking terrain to the Stealthed character only.

3. If an Outwitted power is lost, then Outwit ends. Any new power is not Outwitted automatically. (remember: you can only use the same Outwit only once per turn).

Hope this clears things up...

Outstanding! Thanks for the quick response megakilroy. I will tell my playing partners and continue to kick the #### out of their teams!

I thought that was the case with stealth and outwit, but in the heat of battle one tends to get bogged down in the language of the rules. Thanks for the clarification. It won't be the last, I'm sure!
