What with the recent information discussed about Sentinels basing other figures, I have this to ask.

A Sentinel is based with an opponent's She-Hulk. Five spaces away is a Cyclops. Can the Sentinel ignore She-Hulk to attack Cyclops, and could he use his special multi attack to target both?

Sentinels always succeed in making breakaway, and can draw lines of fire through opposing and friendly figure bases.

My understanding is that yes, he can. I don't have the sentinel rules handy to confirm, but I believe they specify that he can make "two close, two ranged, or one close and one ranged combat attacks".

Although in that case, you might want to just capture She-Hulk :-)

Well yeah, of course :) But my question pertains him being base to base with one figure and making a ranged attack against someone else. The rules are a bit vague in this matter. Ask Tsannik, watch him start going into a tizzy like a wind up car. :)

shin, if you really wanted to you could just ignore she-hulk and make a single ranged attack on cyke... if you wanted to. it's perfectly legal. just like how soaring figures can attack the sentinel and just ignore anything basing them.

From the Sentinel Rules
Sentinels can make a ranged combat attack against any character in range, even if enemy characters are in an adjacent square.
