I'm a bit confused on the new free action rules when it comes to wildcards.
Spidey is on a team with Iron Widow, Nick Fury, and Batman. Spidey, Nick, and Widow are adjacent.
Spidey gets a free action to copy SHIELD to bump Widow's range, and Widow attacks.
Could Spidey legally change to Ultimates to make a ranged attack of his own, and then change back to SHIELD to bump up Nick's range, and then switch to Mystics at the end of the turn?

Yes. The *only* thing that has changed for Wildcards in effect is that you're no longer able to switch TA's at all during your opponents' turn.

Well, also, you don't have to have a character taking an action (for the wildcard to piggyback onto) in order to let the wildcard switch TA's anymore.
For example, if you had used all your actions for a turn and during your last action, your wildcard character had used the Ultimates TA, he can't (currently) switch TA's on your turn unless you can find a free action to give one of your characters. So, when your opponent's turn starts, your opponent's figures can target the Wildcard without him having a chance to copy Batman TA.
With the rule change, you can just say at the end of your turn that the wildcard is given a free action to switch to Batman without having to find someone else to give an action to. That's convenient.

Convenient and rough all at once. No more will you be able to mimic Mystic before an attack by the opposing character on their turn. Whatever you choose at the end of your turn now STICKS. It makes Wildcard a heck of a lot easier to understand and theres no need now for attack to become "Illegal".
In other words......Maryjane bombs are in serious trouble!

Well, he could if you had a Mystic on your team ;)
I'm pretty sure you meant "switch to Batman"

I did. I thank thee.
The teams I usually fight have at least four different TAs with Wildcards (usually SI Dr. Doom, Azrael, Ultimates Scarlet Witch, and every other team the Mystical TA represents).

Quick question: if I wildcard my Doombot to Supes Enemy TA to give Ursa Outwit, then have Ursa Outwit whatever, and then wildcard the 'bot to Hydra, does Ursa's Outwit still stand?
Basically, does a wildcard using Supes Enemy have to continuously stay on it, or can I use the Outwit and then have the wildcard change to something else?

You can change and not affect the OW.
