Expect just as much drama and excitement as Revolutionary Girl Utena! Anticipate in-game antics and intrigue like Thunderbolts: Redemption (with a normal, well-timed ending, though)!

It's Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest!

This game is expected to start late April/early May with 17 players!

One of my all time favorite SNES games!

Yeah, it was simple and childish compared to other FF titles... that was part of the fun!

Besides, who didn't enjoy zipping across open areas with the Dragon Claw?

I loved the game despite many people abhorring it. It was the second RPG I ever played (Secret of Mana being first). Hey, a Secret of Mana mafia game... Hmmm.... :laugh:

It should. This game isn't big like Thunderbolts, and it has no complexities in the rules like Utena.

It could help in a handful of cases, but ultimately, no. This one is pretty cut and dry.

My ultimate goal is to run a bunch of SNES style mafia games, this being my first. Next is Secret of Mana. After that, I've been kicking around Earthbound, Donkey Kong Country, TMNT Tournament Fighters, or Harvest Moon (just because it would be awesome).

Chrono Trigger is on the list. BELIEVE me! There's no way I could let Chrono and his friends go unnoticed.

And I'm not really sure why I didn't mention it before. I want to get enough characters "alive" that I can run a best of series, as well. Like the SNES Mafia Best of Series 1 with the survivors from the first however many games...

Sweet! I know there will be a lot more SNES mafia games for me to run. I run a series of events (parties) called "High Score" where video games are the theme, and High Score 3 in SNES, so I've had my head involved in SNES research these days.

So far, I'm writing roles for these:

Secret of Mana
Donkey Kong Country
TNMT: Tournament Fighters
Final Fantasy III (VI)
Chrono Trigger
Harvest Moon
Tetris Attack
Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past
Bomberman


I was going to do Mario Kart, but there was already a mafia game on that theme some time ago.

I have too much free time on my hands.

A Link To The Past is one of those games both my wife and I owned when we moved in together. Keep in mind that this was a dozen years after the SNES was released, but we still had ours and used them on a regular basis. :)

And if you have your SNES still handy or can find a good emulator online, I HIGHLY recommend playing this game.

It was aimed at a younger audience than the other Final Fantasy games, but it was still damned fun.
